How to unlock the Roadkill achievement in Rage - Definitive Guide

This opportunity won't present itself until very late in the game. On the main quest line, you will get a quest from Portman where you need to go blow up some Authority blockades. The first one you come to there will be 3 enemies right off the bat to run over. Then as you approach to plant the dynamite more mutants will pop out. Just use your car to run them down. Finally after you plant your bomb wait in the car and as the gate explodes yet more enemies will emerge. Run Em down for this little achievement.

Include the option that early in the game, you can do the 2nd to last rocket rally race under "Murder & Mayhem." I will thumbs up once you do since your guide does mention the main place you can get this achievement.

Also just to add when you do the quest in Subway Town for Norbu there is 3 mutants there and another 4 come after u get the item, so 7 from one quest, before you do the blockades

In the Outrigger quest "Mutant Alert" very early in the game where you have to shoot off fireworks, doing so attracts 3 mutants that you can lead onto the road and run over with your ATV.

This solution works, but one thing to note is that progress saves even after you reload. So, just before you round the corner an encounter the first three mutants you can save, kill them and then reload and do it again.

I don't think you'd need to reload more than once as you can easily get 7-10 kills in the sequence, but reloading once can prevent an accidental screw-up that'd make this achievement harder to get. Most enemies in the Wastleands are in vehicles so there really aren't too many opportunities to get this achievement.

i got the easy as pie at the front gate when assaulting the authority bridge, three mutes are there and when you open the gate lots more come out, i ran over a 10 at least because i got the chieve and had never run over any b4.

I found the race option way too time consuming and they do not always run over the track. The Norbu quest isn't a safe bet since it's possible that you already fulfilled the requirements before you even accepted the quest thus immediately ending it.

I've created a save file just before moving in on the first blockade that you have to blow up. Then you can run the 3 mutants down that spawn in front of the door. Blow the door up, jump back in your vehicle and drive over the others. If you miss one. Reload your save and repeat. Badabing badaboom, Achievement Unlocked with the minimum of work.

you can run over these guys in the last murder and mayhem race in wellspring they run across the track close to the wellspring side of the map i just did the race over and over till i hit ten. they seem to come once per race with 1, 2, or 3 mutants one will stand in the road the others will try to climb the roadblocks so if you wanna hit em all you'll have to ride along the fence. also restarting the race autosaves so you will keep your kill count.

This is what I did, but you should probably clarify that restarting or quitting out of the race auto-saves, so it keeps your mutant count. Since you only said you did the race over and over again it sounds like you waited until it was over then did it again. While thats fine if you did, some races produce no mutants so its just faster to restart after you got them for the round.

It's also worthy to say that the Mutants do not appear right away as soon as you get there, if they aren't there, drive back to the start then drive back again, it has worked for me every time.

A revamped version of Slider257's solution, save right before you get to the Authority blockade, then drive up, & run over the 3 mutants, reload your save, rinse and repeat 4 times, and b0.0m, achievo! ^_^

The very first opportunity that I found is before and after the Jackal Canyon mission on Disc 2. Before you go to Jackal Canyon there is a road to the left with a blockade. 3 mutants will appear at this time, just run them over. After you finish Jackal Canyon, go down the same road and 7 more will appear for your 10 total.

One of the final missions in the game requires you to drive to the Authority Bridge and blow it up. When you drive up to the gate 3 mutants will spawn. Run them over and then drive back to Subway Town and enter. Immediately leave to the Wasteland again and drive right back and they will respawn again. Simply rinse and repeat and you are done. After blowing the hole to the area a group of them will spawn as well. in case you have a few left to get. Should not take more than 2 times killing the initial group of 3. Just make sure you stay in the car and run them all over.

During "Assault the Authority Bridge" you get an excellent opportunity to earn this achievement. Run over 10 mutants with your vehicle to unlock it. If you missed out on this opportunity here, don't fret, you can still run over mutants in certain races.

During the mission "Assault on Authority Bridge", there's exactly 10 mutants when you are going through the process of blowing the door up. You can run over mutants in cars. Some races involve mutants so you can run them over during them and it counts towards the trophy. Norbu in Subway town gives you a quest that involves 7+ run-overable mutants so you can get it here to.
