Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny

As the description suggests, you get this achievement by traveling to different locations across the sea. In other words, you will only make progress on this achievement if you're taking a boat that leaves your current continent. That being said, there is another achievement for making 20 journeys across the land as well, so you may as well go for both.


As mentioned above, it's not enough to just travel by boat. You won't get progress for crossing streams or hitching a ride through random encounters. Instead, you need to find a location like Ottarje or Varheim which have a harbor in the city. Then, take a boat to Ljasdahl, as it's on an island, and therefore counts towards your total.

It's worth noting that it costs to travel by ship. However, once you have enough gold for one trip, you can save, travel, and reload to get the achievement without spending your coin. Either way, once you've traveled across the sea 20 times, the achievement will unlock.
