You can do this as soon as you exit the Temple and head to one of the shops or market stalls. Once you find a merchant, make sure you have the best leader possible. This means whoever has the highest speech skills (druids/sorceresses/rogues seem to have the best) needs to be your party leader. If you're not sure who, you can check via the stats screen in the menus, or by actually attempting to haggle. It will show each person's stats beforehand.
Once you're ready, either buy or sell an item or items that are high in value. The higher the better, as it means you have to use fewer attempts. Once you're ready, hit
to haggle the price, and raise the bar to the max. if you succeed, the achievement tracker will go up. Find more items and do it again.
If you didn't, chances are the merchant won't want to deal with you a second time. If you end up getting kicked out of the store, just reload the save. You can reload whenever and any progress you get will still count. Once you've collected 50 additional ducats, the achievement will unlock.
