An overkill is achieved when you deplete a demons HP past zero and then continue to damage it. So make sure you that your AP is near full when commencing an attack on a demon who is near death.

An Overkill is done when you deplete a monsters HPs to zero then continue to damage them till their HP bar gets Overkilled. Get the best equipment available to you via a blacksmith and enhancement and then setup your skills to perform second level skills since they are much more strong then first level skills. If you are still having trouble try getting the monster down to a sliver of health then end your turn and attack them with a fresh set of AP.
