How to unlock the Armored Cavalry achievement in Red Faction: Armageddon - Definitive Guide

During the second mission of the DLC, you'll be in a Red Faction tank and moving towards the Terraformer. Winters will be giving you instructions while you move through the level and he'll tell you to help some pinned down soldiers. Just kill all the cultists in the area and the achievement will unlock. This is story related, and unmissable.

You must save the soldiers to lower the force field to be able to proceed.

During the second DLC mission you are in a tank for the entire duration. It is a bit awkward to control but just keep chugging along blowin' shit up and rolling through whatever gets in your way.

About halfway through the mission, Winters will yell over the intercom that some boys in the Red Faction need some help. It's not out of your way and I believe it's actually impossible to miss this trophy. As soon as you eliminate the enemies in that area and then blow up the force field generator, you will unlock this trophy.

Story related, can't be missed

This trophy takes place during checkpoint 3 of the level "Tip of the Spear", when Sargent Winters informs you that some Red Faction soldiers need backup. All you have to do is clear out a couple of waves of Cultists. Once they're all dead, the soldiers you've just rescued, will lower the Force Field that's blocking your exit. The trophy will pop shortly after entering the Tunnel.

This is story-related and cannot be missed. It will unlock during level 2 of the DLC.

Oddly enough, in my opinion, this is the second plot achievement.

The achievement opens approximately in the middle of the second task, simply destroying everyone and everything in its path on the MASTIFF tank.
