This is a quick run through all the puzzles. He completes it in 3H26 so it's not necessary to move with the same speed and precision, but you do need to hurry a bit.

Just got this done, it's really not that bad at all.

- You can definitely quit the game and do it in as many sittings as you want. I quit to take a break after every area or two.
- If you mess up to the point you have to restart a puzzle or waste too much time, DON'T select 'Retry' from the pause menu as I'm pretty certain from my first playthrough this will add to your timer. Just quit and continue your game to start the puzzle again.
- You can safely skip all cutscenes and dialogue when prompted.
- Not sure whether pausing does stop the timer or not as I didn't pause very often following the TA walkthrough.

Judging from my Xbox playtime as I went along, it took me about 4 hours and 40 minutes from start to finish, but I was surprised that my final time in-game was 3 hours and 37 minutes and this was with a fair bit of wasted time, so you really have a lot more leeway than you'd expect. I think quitting to the main menu to restart puzzles made a big difference. The achievement should pop as soon as you make your choice at the end of the game. Good luck!

I'll probly take breaks with lunch or whatever though out the day and keep it paused. Don't want the timer to keep going because I'll over 6 hours for sure with the break times.

I confirm that the pause in the game stops the internal time. After completing the base game, my xbox timer was 13h but at the end of the game the timer showed 4:40

Can also confirm pausing stops the timer. I was really hard on myself for every second lost, but complete the game in 3 hours 46 minutes, so as long as you’re disciplined and follow the guide properly you’ll be fine

You can quit the game and come back later. The downside is if your power goes out like mine did, and erases over an hour of your cloud-saved game upload.

Pausing is fine, you are able to come back to this, my advice is don't stress too much, I did awful but I still managed to get 5:17:00, so it is time lenient.

Curious, has anyone completed this in under 6 hours and not have it pop? At the end of the game, I get a time of 5:44 and some change but I didn't get the achievement. Tried "continuing" the last save, where you have to choose which final path, then ran through the cut-scene and credits with no joy. I did this for both choices.

You can definitely pause (with the menu button) I did that a lot while watching this video. Then paused the video and continued the game. Skipped every dialogue and clocked at 4:04. Easily doable even with some mistakes, so don't stress about it.

If a puzzle was taking too long, or I felt I'd taken too long then I'd quit to dashboard before going past the exit gate and autosave point and quit the game and have another go. I'm presuming this helps as I'm sure I spent way longer than 6 hrs on it.

Other obvious tips for me are to run as much as possible with [LB] and skip cutscenes with (B).

The one issue I had was with the last puzzle on Faustini Desert Rift. On my initial playthrough, the pad that should be moving round the rectangular frame on the wall wasn't moving and was static in the bottom left. I can't remember if I initially fixed it by restarting or not, but when it did it on my speedrun the only way to fix it was to delete my local save. Quitting to dashboard, resetting the puzzle or even restarting the console didn't seem to fix it.

If something seems off like a moving part isn't moving; go to the main menu and restart.
Spent 20 minutes trying to figure out a puzzle to find out the moving platform just glitched and stopped moving. Assumed i hit a button the whole time

No, time does not pass during a pause! On PS4 for sure. I watched a speedrun and pressed pause 100 times, resulting in 4 hours on the counter.
