This reminds me of the rescue the prisoners of level 1 on the original game. *spoiler*.... You need to rescue around 15 prisoners from the level - the Renegade plane is central to the map, and as such you are going North, South and East to rescue the civilians, all of which are guarded by jeeps, men, tanks, and laterly juggernaughts. You also have to do this whilst other primary missions pop up, such as destroy a juggernaught attacking a building. The civilains seem to be grouped in 3's, so you can fill your jeep up in the one area, before returning to the plane to drop them off. To be honest, I found the time quite tight on this, especially as you will probably still be picking up prisoners when the enemy starts an assault on your plane, so you need to be very quick in rushing to an area, pick up the civilians, and then get out quick before the mayhem starts! As a result, unless you are some sort of god, I would recommend this is attempted on casual. If you do, it should be relatively straight forward.

For anyone still attempting this in 2021 or after.... the number of prisoners in this level is 24.

I miss some key facts and tips in this solution. It is more a report or an impression of the mission at the least. First of all, how many prisoners are there? GT3OptionFan answered that one = 24. So you have to do 8 full runs to get every prisoner to the plane. Another question I have is until which point in the mission is it possible to pick up prisoners? It is indicated that after the plane defense section it is not possible any more to rescue prisoners but that's not 100% clear to me.

EDIT: Easy, just did this on hardcore with skill level Alien. The whole game seems so easy when you have completed the main campaign solo on hardcore.

Now this one is a pretty easy trophy to acquire if you correctly follow the steps that I'll list below. Near the middle of mission 1, there will be a part where you have to rescue the civilians from their frosty cages. They are probably hidden in static so they're hidden in questionable blue looking closets. When you start rescuing the civilians and you hit the 6 civilians rescued mark, you will be prompted that a golem has appeared in the nearby village and you have to stop it. The first thing you have to do is completely ignore the golem and continue collecting the civilians until a timer appears.

What'll happen when you do this is, the timer will reset and disappear when you kill the golem as the timer and red objective marker has prompted. So after that, continue collecting the prisoners. You will be prompted to defeat atleast 3 golems before the mission ends so it won't be a problem if you abuse the X Button button all the time and switch between parts of the map to return and collect. There are 24 civilians in total. Also remember that the three other civilians only appear when you've defeated each of the golems so don't panic when you're at the last golem with only 23 civilians!
