How to unlock the Four-Terminal Chain achievement in Resonance of Fate - Definitive Guide

I did this in chapter 3 in the Forest of Idols. I took the yellow U shaped hexes and unlocked the Forest of Idols. Then I went and connected it to the terminal to the east that offered double charge speed. I then kept farming the hexes I needed and put enough contiguous ones to activate the terminal. This has the bonus of charging the forrest with the terminal effect. Over the course of the chapter I kept farming more and only connecting new ones when I had enough hexes to power them.

Linked terminals require enough hexes for them all to work or none will. All hexes need to be the same color. Once I had linked all three on the level I went and started moving them to the elevator to level 4. Once I had the elevator linked I went up to 4 and placed a matching hex on the elevator hex. From there I went and linked to the station nearby completing a chain of 4.

About 160 hexes are needed, and given that energy hexes are made of 4 hexes, I needed 40 yellow U-shaped hexes.

The goal of this is to link together a lot of transmission systems to give you buffs that can be applied to dungeons when the hexes are linked.

Did you drop a red power station to get started on laying red hexes? I suggested yellow so you don't have to waste a power station.

I got almost 140 yellow hexes filled, after 4 hours of grinding (which Im sure was actually REALLY good), but I had enough reds the ENTIRE time. lmao...

If i have a red terminal active, and a yellow one, and they connect, will they melt together or do they have to be the same color?

They must be the same color, or they will not network.

That's a great spot for getting this, though it's a lot less time consuming if you use a red station hex on the map and use red energy hexes to connect them in stead of the yellow ones (you will still need to use a yellow one to unlock the dungeon first if you want to connect the terminals to it, but then it can be swapped to red.) The reason being when you first get here you'll only have the few yellows you were given, but likely sitting on around 20 or more reds, also the reds seem to drop more often than the yellows on the forest map.

Yeah, I started with the station, wasn't too much of a waste since it let me be lazy and save without hoofing it back to town while grinding for the rest of the parts.

Ok, I already connected Yellow U hexes on all 4 terminal (3 on level 5 and 1 on level 4 including the elevator and Forest of Idols) but for some reason it won't activated and no achievement....the number on top of all 4 terminal show 76/160 (I'm not sure what that mean).....what should I do?
