no real tricks to getting this one just play a lot. I got this around the 65 hour mark.

I received this one halfway through Chapter 14, after around 48 hours of play.

Won the Tera-Driver achievement at 60 hours here... Think it may have something to do with how much stuff you have done in the game, I had spent quite a bit of time in the Arena. Mine unlocked in the middle of a dungeon during a later chapter...

People say that this is probably to do with stuff in the game but I think it's probably what the description actually says. Got this at 40 hours 1 minute in chapter 10. There's no trick to it obviously, but I'd guess if you kept zoning in and out of places constantly (to force the game to load data constantly) you'd get it, but why you'd want to do that is beyond me.

I got it just started chapter 9 in 48 hours just farming for color hexes and leveling up in Arena....I wasn't even trying and the achv pop.....I was like "huh...what's that?"

The achievement is tied to how many times and/or how much data the game loads. I can confirm that if you install the game on your HDD, you'll still get the achievement -- the game still loads data to RAM, which seems to be all its checking for. Got it at about the 65 hour mark same as the OP.

I played the game installed to the hard drive and this unlocked during Chapter 14 at about 50 hours.

This achievement is pretty random. Some players may have this with only 40h played and some like me may unlock this when they reach 60-70h.
However you should have this before you finish the story.

Don"t worry if you have bought the game on the Xbox Live or if you have installed it on your hard disk.
You don't need the game disk to unlock this achievement.
