Perform a Tri-Attack and kill an enemy with it.
First build your Resonance by doing heroic actions that intersect the other 2 party members (line is blue). Build up your Resonance to about 4 or 5. Make sure you are positioned near an enemy, otherwise your targeting gauges will take too long to fill. Select an enemy and with your machine gunner and press Y, press again to change attack order if you want. Press X to start the attack. After the targeting guage fills for everyone at least once press A to attack.
By having your machine gunner do high scratch damage first you will ensure that the one of the direct gunners will kill the target.
