Ring of Pain

Here is how I managed this one:

• Start with the Double Candle and pick the Chaotic Underwear

• Work your way carefully through the lower levels until you find either (Wishful) aka Wishing Well or the Soul Craft spell

• Use the spell or well to break down the Underwear while keeping the stats.

• Pick up stats and items focusing on speed and damage

• This is a very glass cannon build avoid trading blows, dodge stat and stealth can help you survive till you reach 60 skill points

• Don't be shy about going through the 'named' tunnels. Try to extend the game as much as possible to give you opportunities to pickup speed stats.

Starting with this setup puts you into the teens for speed at floor 1. The trick is that you will be "slow" until you break down the Chaotic Underwear item.
