How to unlock the Tricky Racer achievement in Riptide GP2 - Definitive Guide
Every time you level up you will unlock 1 or 2 skill points. Use these to purchase more and better tricks to help you earn more points. Repeating the same trick will shave off 50 points. Make sure to do a trick off every ramp. Try not to use your boost. This will cause you to over shoot a ramp. Also level 1 tricks will do nothing in the later freestyle events so avoid those.
Level 1 tricks = 100 points
Level 2 tricks = 200 points
Level 5 tricks = 250 points
Level 10 tricks = 400 points
Regional Champs = 2
-Time to Shine (1200 points)
-Sun and Surf (1200 points)
Pro Am = 1
-To Infinity (1250 points)
Waverunner Cup = 1
-Shoot the Loop (1500 points)
World Cup = 2
-Big Finish (1400 points)
-Air and Water (1400 points)
Galaxy Cup = 2
-Countdown (1900 points)
-Touch the Sky (1400 points)
Ultimate Cup = 2
-Grandstander (1800 points)
-Freestyle Finale (2000 Points)
Then for the single ramp preform level 5 tricks, any of them will work. I was able to get 2000 points on that map.

Probably the easiest of the Events. Initially, you can clear these with your entry Tricks, but as you progress you will need to use Skill Points to unlock high tiered Tricks, which are worth more points when you pull them off.
In particular the Tier 10 Tricks reward a lot of points, but cannot be done on all ramps - you need a fairly large drop to complete the Trick, but most tracks have at least one available. Those Tricks should be prioritized whenever possible, with the Tier 5 tricks used as much as possible on the smaller ramps.
There are 10 total Free Style Events across the first 8 Cups (the 9th cup is all Races). This trophy will pop when you have 3 starred every Free Style Event.
As you level up you gain access to more and more tricks which you will need only some of them to get through this in one piece. Pick a handful of tricks varying in level that you like and that can work together and basically stick to those. The more you try to complicate this, the harder it gets. While you're doing tricks try to see which ones flow together, and which ones cause you to stall on landing. This becomes very important in later events where there are only small margins for error. You will unlock skill points each time you level up, and you can use these skill points to purchase new tricks which will offer bigger points. The bigger the ramp, the larger the trick you can pull off for more points.
