This HIGS unit can be found at the Tar Pits. In this area you need to navigate the tar pits. If you fall down one of the pits, you'll restart from the last checkpoint. At the end of the area, you'll find the HIGS unit, but before you can scan it, a Longneck will take it and try to eat it. Use the food scattered around you to make an exchange and get your hands on a fancy broken unit. Set your tool to scan mode using and absorb the green orbs using .
