Rocket League

This is fairly simple if you set up the right settings and may take a tiny bit of skill, but most of it is just waiting for the AI to go dumb.

What is required
Shark Fin Hat
Unfair match

Best way to set up
Exhibition match
- Chose Any Map (not random so it makes loading faster)
- 1V2
- Unfair
Mutator Settings
- Match Length, 5 Minutes
- Max Score, 1 Goal
- Boost Amount, Recharge (Fast)
- Boost Strength, 10X

With these settings you get to top speed in a tap of the boost and are constantly getting some.

Match tips, Boost off the start and when you hit the 2nd boost pad in the center double jump forward to deflect the ball. After that just keep attacking and if you can, knock out the AI. With the 1 score I either lost in 8 seconds or barely missed the goal and lost at 1:30 but it was only about 8 matches.

I had no luck with the other 2 guides as i found this impossible until i just came across a flaw in the game which made me do it 1st time with hardly no effort

Make sure you have the shark fin equipped & set the mutators to -
Max score - 1 goal
Ball speed - super fast
Ball type - cube
Ball weight - heavy
Ball size - small
Ball bounciness - low
Gravity - super high
Demolish - friendly fire (this 1 is optional but i thought it might help if the friendly fire affected them)
Leave the other settings as they are

I did it on "beckwith park"with the "Backfire" car

For some reason when the enemy goes to hit the cube they then stop right in front of it after they drive about a car length while pushing it so you just line up the cube to their goal & boost right into it, chances are 1 enemy car might interupt you but then he stops again after making contact with the cube, the enemy had a clear drive of my goal at 1 point when i tested this for the 2nd time after i got my achievement & he did nothing! It might be that the cube is too heavy for them to push as they manage to push it a bit further when they hit it at full speed

For this achievement you're going to need the shark fin topper for your car. If you haven't unlocked this yet, keep playing the game until it unlocks. Once it does, equip it in the garage to any car.

After the fin topper is equipped, head over to Exhibition and set up a game. Any arena can be selected however you must ensure that the bot difficulty is set to unfair, i'd recommend 1v2 to keep chaos to a minimum.

I would also recommend setting the mutators for only one goal to be scored and for unlimited boost to allow you to attack and defend quickly. Once these settings are correct, head into the game.

All you have to do in the game is score a goal. Since the game is set to only one goal , if you score, you win. If they score, keep restarting until you win the game. As soon as the game ends, the achievement should pop if you did everything correctly!

Others solutions are great.. and am just adding an extra tip to it, this achievement is very easy with another player in local co-op. Set the game 2 v 3 with Max 1 Goal, try to hit the ball towards the post and other player can divert the bots if you feel difficulty... I tried and got this achievement in my very first try...

If you dare to get this Achievement the legit way, you may follow my guide below (copied from my own guide for the respective trophy on truetrophies.com). I completed the game on PlayStation 4 already. Also I've linked a replay video at the bottom, where I earned the respective trophy in the PS4 version at the end. If you don't have unlocked them already, you can also gain two other achievements in the same attempt.


Equip the "Scarab" or "Zippy" as the car of your choice and win the MVP achievement at the end of the match. Should come naturally (but I can not guarantee this)


Also, have the "Hearts" Decal equipped on your car.

And of course, to meet the requirements for this achievement you have to equip the "Shark Fin Topper" and then start an Exhibition match. Select "Unfair" as difficulty and then "1 VS 2" (should be default setting)

In general theory, the tactics is fairly simple. Shoot the first goal and just defend your own for the rest of the match. But, easier said then done, so...

General tip: If you don't really need it, I also would recommend you, to disable the ball-cam temporary.

Like mentioned, right at the beginning of the match, instantly dash forward and shoot a goal after the first kick-off. If you can't make it, you might as well restart the match, but that's not a must if you are confient enough in your skills.

For the second kick-off, just kick away the ball from your own goal, then head back there and wait until the opponents try to shoot at it. In 8/10 attemps, the AI will try to shoot straight head-on. When this happens, just kick the ball as far away from your goal as even possible to gain some time.

If the opponent doesn't shoot head-on and the ball fly's in paralell to the boundary of the playing field you have to guess where it might bounce off to hit it and dispose it again. Also, always be on the lookout where both of the AI players are. You want to receive a goal because you lost track of one player.

If the ball does not fly into the opponents half of the playing field, JUST STAY INSIDE YOUR GOAL AND DON'T LOOSE SIGHT OF THE BALL!
If the ball and the opponents are far away and no immediate threat, use the momentum and refill your turbo boost. Best thing of course the full charge from the corners. Or the smaller recharge in front of the goal.

Also, if the ball is far away in the opponent half and you see a chance to get another goal yourself to extend the lead, you might use the opportunity. But always be aware, this tactic could backfire on you if you are not 100% vigilant.

Don't immediately give up if you receive a goal. Remember, the match runs 5 minutes. this can be a long time. And you always may get a chance to strike a fast counter-goal. In fact i would only advice you to restart, if you are behind more then one goal. Else, let the time run down and hope for a quick strike of your own.
