How to unlock the Winning is Winning achievement in Rocket League - Definitive Guide

You don't have to stick to just one of these vehicles, you can switch between them to try them both out during the season. Just don't use any other vehicles.

Did another 9 game season - now with the Takumi. Won it. Trophy popped.

Strange. I am pretty sure I used the Dominus during the whole first season. Ah well.

I've won a 18 week championship with Dominus and a 9 week championship with Takumi and no Trophy pop. Am I missing something? I guess I'll need to win a 3rd...

When no did it I didn't use just one of those two cars. I used one for a couple then switched to the other. Shouldn't be that way according to the description but you could try that. Not should why else it didn't pop for you.

On this point the description only states Dominus.

Does it work with only Dominus or is this bugged?

It works to only use Dominus if you like.

For this trophy, you must win a full Season Championship whilst using a specific Car body, Dominus. It works the exact same way as the Champion trophy from the main game.

Start a season and set it to 1v1 on Rookie difficulty, 9 weeks and 4 playoff teams for a total of 11 matches. Score a few times at kick off by boosting immediately at the ball aiming for the opposition goal, then just defend and let the timer run out; score more goals if the AI happens to start catching up to ensure you win.

The AI is not very good on Rookie difficulty, so you shouldn't have any problem winning a season championship; if you happen to be losing any match and can't catch up, you can simply restart the match from the  menu at no penalty making this impossible to miss. You must also win all of the play off matches(2) as any defeat will result in elimination, but you can just restart if you are losing near the end of the match.

You can play with one car and get a trophy.

Just win the 9-week championship with one of the specified cars and that's it.

I don’t quite understand why there should be 4 games in the final! I staged the championship for 9 weeks, there was one match in the playoffs and one match in the final, there were no defeats at all, the trophy popped up!

In order not to miss one playoff match, 3rd place in the table was enough (I had 4 defeats). I started the match and waited for the time to end.
