The earliest chapter you can obtain this trophy: Chapter Eight (Chapter Twelve Recommended)

To unlock this trophy, you must displace Desert Claw in the Hunter’s Rank and become the highest ranked hunter in the galaxy. This is no easy task, and chances are you will only be able to accomplish this late in the game. Jaster begins all the way at the bottom, at rank 100, and must accumulate enough Hunter Points to make his way all the way to the top rank. There are two ways to earn Hunter Points:

• Hunter Records: Hunter Records are bounties on regular beasts encountered through random battles. Hunter Points are earned after defeating a set number of enemies, such as defeating 30 Baphu beasts, or defeating 25 Dragonfly enemies. Once you have completed a Hunter Record, make your way to a Transporter, and select “Exchange Points”. Hunter Records give only small amounts of Hunter Points, but provided you do not run from battles very often and you explore dungeons thoroughly, you will naturally accomplish many Hunter Records, and the points add up.
• Quarries: Quarries are special bounties that are more difficult than normal beasts, but give a lot more Hunter Points than Hunter Records. See Bounty Hunter for more information. Because quarries give so much Hunter Points, the bulk of your points will come from them.

To reach the top Hunter’s Rank, you will need to accomplish both Hunter Records and defeating quarries. This is no easy task, because while you earn Hunter Points and go up in rank, so too does Desert Claw gain more points, so the goalpost is always moving up. Once you have defeated most, if not all, of the quarries, chances are that you will have reached the top Hunter’s Rank and will have unlocked this trophy, but in the event that you do not reach the top Hunter’s Rank, work on completing more Hunter Records in endgame areas, as they give out a larger amount of Hunter Points compared to earlier areas of the game. Once you've obtained the trophy and Jaster is Rank Number #1 in the Hunter Rankings. Return back to the Galaxy Corporation and talk to MIO and she'll give you the Desert Claw’s Outfit as a reward.
