Once you have completed Chapter Eight of Rogue Galaxy, you will unlock this trophy.

Chapter Eight - Chasing a Legend

It should be noted that you can do this chapter in any order you wish for obtaining the three Key Pieces on Juraika, Vedan, and Zerard. This is also the longest chapter in Rogue Galaxy, our objectives will go Juraika in part 1, Vedan in part 2, and Zerard in part 3.

Objectives to complete this chapter part 1:

Planet Juraika:

  1. Teleport to Burkaqua Village/Path to Burkaqua Exit and then head east to Path to the Ruins.
  2. Find and navigate your way through the Leo King’s Ruins.
  3. Boss Fight: Mad Witch

Boss Fight Strategy: Mad Witch

The Mad Witch can teleport around the battlefield, so be sure that you're locked onto her at all times. Another thing she can do is lighting attacks. These lightning strikes can be deadly, reducing your health down by half, and even potentially killing whoever gotten hit by the lighting. If the Mad Witch summons lighting, don't stand there blocking it with , but instead run away from it and the lighting will miss you. It should also be noted that the Mad With can inflict status effects on your party such as Confused/Dazed/Shock. The boss fight itself is very simple; just use Illusion Sword attacks while you're buffed out with attack buffs and weapon enhancements. Keep reactivating Illusion Sword and keep all other buffs up at all times and you'll easily defeat the Mad Witch. Remember to heal and use resurrections as needed.

Objectives to complete this chapter part 2:

Planet Vedan:

  1. Teleport to Myna/Near Item Shop Corbis and then head to the tunnel that was previously blocked off by a kid.
  2. Defeat a squad of Longardian Soldiers.
  3. Meet Harry and obtain Harry's Bell.
  4. Navigate through the Cancer King’s Ruins.
  5. Use Harry's Bell on the Thinking Circle to cross the fast flowing waterway.
  6. Boss Fight: Seed
  7. Boss Fight: Assault Walker x3

Boss Fight Strategy: Seed

Just like before, you're not required to win this battle, just survive until a cutscene occurs. Change your team’s command to “Step Back” so that your party keeps their distance from Seed’s attacks, be sure to run from him if he targets you and block if you can’t outrun him, and always be sure to heal whenever any of your team members sustain damage. After some time, the battle will end and a cutscene will occur.

Boss Fight Strategy: Assault Walker x3

These Assault Walkers have barriers, so change Jaster's Subweapon to the Barrier Break Shot and shoot them each once to break their barriers. Now with their barriers removed, you can easily defeat them with Jaster's Flash Sword Lv3 followed by buffs that increases your attack power. Remember to heal as needed whenever you fall below 50% health.

Objectives to complete this chapter part 3:

It should be noted that the boss towers can be done in either order, so Gazel and Logan aren't exactly correct orders. Regardless of which tower you do first, you'll need to defeat them both anyway.

Planet Zerard:

  1. Teleport to Galaxy Corporation/Main Entrance and then head north to the Gladius Towers.
  2. Approach the Gladius Towers and Steve will be given the Burst Mode Switch from Doctor Donald Pocacchio.
  3. Return back to the Gladius Towers and use the Burst Mode Switch at either Thinking Circle in front of the towers.
  4. Obtain the Libra King's Sword
  5. Navigate your way through both Towers until you find and defeat Gazel and Logan from each Tower.
  6. Boss Fight: Phantom Gazel
  7. Boss Fight: Seed
  8. Boss Fight: Phantom Logan

Boss Fight Strategy: Phantom Gazel

Gazel is quite strong and a little similar to the Mad Witch. He'll teleport around the battlefield as well as making himself invisible. While invisible, you'll lose track of him for a short period of time. When he reappears, he's capable of inflicting extreme heavy damage on anyone who's near him when he appears back on the field. The last thing Gazel is able to do is throw his swords at the party like a boomerang. This technique will hit the party multiple times if their caught in the attack.

To make quick work of defeating Gazel, activate Jaster's Illusion Sword and use any attack/defense/weapon buffs your current party has, as well as Strength Stars and Guardian Spheres. Keep these buffs and enhancements up at all times. Also, you'll want to keep your distance away from Gazel while holding to block whenever he disappears. When Gazel reappears back on the battlefield be sure to lock onto him immediately and continue your Illusion Sword spamming assault. You can also use Jaster's Subweapon to deal additional long range damage. Remember to heal and revive fallen allies as needed.

Boss Fight Strategy: Seed

Once again, just survive long enough until a cutscene occurs. Change your team’s command to “Step Back” so that your party keeps their distance from Seed’s attacks, be sure to run from him if he targets you, block if you can’t outrun him, and always be sure to heal whenever any of your team members sustain damage. After some time, the battle will end and a cutscene will occur.

Boss Fight Strategy: Phantom Logan

Logan is the easiest of the brothers because he's extremely slow and only has a lance and a shield, both of which can easily be blocked with . To make quick work of him, just use Illusion Sword and attack power buffs and Logan's health will drop very fast.
