How to unlock the Once and for All achievement in Rogue Galaxy - Definitive Guide

I don't want to spoil anything here, so I will give you just one piece of advice. Equip all of your characters with their best equipment just prior to the fight with Mother on Mariglenn - all eight characters - and be fully loaded on healing items.

I've included tips on the fight below if needed.

Boss Fight Strategy: Mother

This fight is difficulty because Jaster is the only character who can damage the boss, but before you do anything, you must have Jaster equipped with the Zep Sychros and the Monography Shot. Use the Monography Shot to shoot and create floating platforms that will help you jump to the Mother's head. While on these platforms, be careful because Mother can still swing at you and might knock you off the platforms. If you landed in the lava below, you'll take heavy damage but it won't kill you automatically. When you landed near her head, quickly deal as much damage as you can in one session as Jaster using Illusion Sword and any buffing abilities along with Strength Stars and Guardian Spheres buffs. After the assault, her head will go back up to the point that you need to repeat this process again until Mother is defeated. Don't forget to use any Heal Potions as necessary.

Boss Fight Strategy: Mother (Final Form)

This is Mother's Final Form and it's extremely easy. There's nothing special about this fight, just spam Illusion Sword along with any buff abilities. You can also use ultimate attacks such as Supernova or Fated Passion to deal additional damage to her. Make sure to keep your party members’ health up as usual.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Valkog's Hand)

You'll have control of Deego for this one-on-one boss fight. Before you do anything, lock onto the Hand's ring by using the to target the ring. You need to use Deego's Subweapon to shoot the ring whenever the Hand is closed in a fist. After damaging the ring enough, the Hand will open up and you can now damage the it by jumping up to it and attacking. Be sure to use Deego's Top Dog buff ability to make him even stronger. Last of all, keep Deego's health over 50% at all times and when the fist closes, repeat the process of attacking the ring again.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Bomb Walker)

You'll have control of Simon for this one-on-one boss fight. Use Simon's Missile Squall or Raging Dragon to destroy all the cannon batteries surrounding the area, then use Gelanamin X to buff yourself. The boss will go done very easily just by attacking it or you can just continue spamming your instant damaging abilities and blocking when you're recharging. Remember to keep an eye on your health.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Bomb Walker 2)

You'll have control of Steve for this one-on-one boss fight. Since this fight is the same as Simon's fight, just spam Steve's Icy Beam Lv3 repeatedly while you're blocking to recharge your action gauge. Remember to heal as needed.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Core)

You'll have control of Lilika for this one-on-one boss fight. This time, you'll want to ignore the Bomb Walker and only focus on destroying the Core. The Bomb Walker will be coming at you but it won't matter if you can destroy the Core as quickly as possible. It's best to just buff Lilika with Warrior God's Cry and a Strength Star, then attack with Serpentine Arrow Skill activated. Block to recharge your action gauge and heal as needed and the Core will go down in no time.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Valkog's Hand 2)

You'll have control of Jupis for this one-on-one boss fight. This fight is just like Deego's so before you do anything, lock onto the Hand's ring by using the to target the ring. You need to use Jupis' Subweapon to shoot the ring whenever the Hand is closed in a fist. After damaging the ring enough the Hand will open up and you can now damage it by jumping up to it and attacking. Be sure to use Jupis' Aromatic Boost buff ability to make him even stronger. Last of all, keep Jupis' health over 50% at all times and when the fist closes, repeat the process of attacking the ring again.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Izel)

You'll have control of Zegram for this one-on-one boss fight. Before you do anything, lock onto Izel's Core then attack it with Zegram's Subweapon. The Core is the red part on Izel's chest, which might also be his heart. Once the Core has been damaged enough, Izel will punch the ground then stop. This gives you an opportunity to jump onto Izel's arm and attack his shoulder. You need to jump and attack his shoulder while you're still on Izel's arm. Be sure to use Zegram's Drunken Burst and Twin Sword abilities before attacking. Repeat this process over again and remember to keep Zegram's health up over 50%.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Norma)

You'll have control of Kisala for this one-on-one boss fight. This is the second to last fight and you need to do is buff Kisala with Dagger Slash and a Strength Star. Keep attacking Norma's head while blocking the lighting attacks and healing as necessary. Norma only has one attack, and it is easy to block, though it does cause Shock.

Boss Fight Strategy: Demon Battleship (Valkog)

You'll have control of Jaster for this one-on-one boss fight. This is the last final boss fight of Rogue Galaxy. In this fight, you'll notice Jaster is in Star King mode and has a new sword that is so huge that you no longer need to worry about range. Another thing to note is that Jaster cannot even use his Subweapon for this fight. All that aside, the key thing to worry about is where Valkog's hands are at. For example, if he's covering a section of his face you cannot damage him there. You'll need to change the target location by using the to target a portion that Valkog isn't covering with his hands. It's best to attack these not covered up portions in three or four hits then hold to block. Last of all, keep moving and trying to avoid Valkog's attacks; he hits you very hard and can deal over 700-900 damage in one attack. Due to this very reason, you'll want to keep Jaster's health always at 100% and not over 50%. Keep attack him and blocking and he will eventually die once and for all. To make things easier for you, be sure to have a Strength Star and a Guardian Sphere activated at all times for extra manpower and protection. Patience is the key in the fight, after all. Beware that if you are defeated in this battle, or in any of the final boss fights, you will be forced to restart from the first Mother battle.
