Rogue Galaxy

Once you have completed Chapter One of Rogue Galaxy, you will unlock this trophy.

Chapter One - Departure

Objectives to complete this chapter:

1. Defeat the Baphus beasts with the help of the Hooded Man.
2. Obtain the Seven Star Sword - Desert Seeker and the Battle Recorder from the Hooded Man.
3. Boss Fight: Giants x2
4. Boss Fight: Mark VIII Salamander
5. Talk to Katahari and pay him 200 Zehn to rent the Yago to ?nish the chapter.

Boss Fight Strategy: Giants x2
 

To damage these Giants, you need to jump and hit them with your sword attacks while you're in midair. It's highly recommended that you activate Jaster's Flash Sword ability before attacking them. This will infuse the blade with the power of lightning, causing increased damaged. If your Action Gauge is depleted, you must wait until it is filled before you can attack again. However, you can block with when a Giant attacks you to automatically refill the Action Gauge. If you're taking too much damage, press and go into "Item" to use a Heal Potion, which heals 50% of your HP (as such, use this only if your HP falls below 50-75%).

Boss Fight Strategy: Mark VIII Salamander
 

This battle is divided into three phases. In the first phase of the battle, you will need to use your Subweapon to destroy the Salamander's four anklets. Use the or buttons on the to target them and press for Jaster to fire his gun. If Jaster runs out of ammo, he must reload. While reloading, you can attack the anklets with Jaster’s sword by pressing , but you might endanger yourself by walking right into the beast’s attacks.

Once these anklets have been destroyed, the second phase of the battle will begin. You will need to destroy the heart. Jaster will automatically be given the Monography Shot, which is a gun that creates temporary footholds. Use these foothold floating platforms to reach the heart and activate Jester's Flash Sword ability to inflict massive damage. During the fight, Jester might get knocked off the boss. If this happens, just use the Monography Shot with to fire more footholds again.

When the heart is taken out, the final phase will begin. You will need to kill the Salamander by attacking the head with your sword. Just be careful of the Salamander's Fire Breath attack, as this attack cannot be blocked and will deal fire damage overtime on Jaster. Remember to use Healing Potions when needed or CO2 Powder to cure "On Fire" status.
