Just remember that as you wander around Kuje Desert and run into people (like the old man who asks for water) to always choose to be kind. You're being tested before being allowed into the hidden location here. Since it's part of the story, I don't know what happens if you pick the mean answers.

Chapter Ten - The Illusory Oasis
Objectives to complete this chapter:
- Enter Kuje Desert.
- Give water to the old man.
- Take the bag of coins from the dead body.
- Suck the poison out of the dying girl's snake bite.
- Tell the woman that you have seen her husband, that he is not okay, and then give her the bag of coins.
- Enter Johannasburg and head to the central plaza.
- Enter the old man's home.
- Enter the lone house to the west of the town.
- Boss Fight: Johanna
- Teleport to Tablet Pit/Near the Tablet
- Use the Eternal Keyplate at the Thinking Circle in the Tablet Pit.
- Examine the steering wheel and say that you are ready.
Boss Fight Strategy: Johanna
Jaster faces Johanna alone, and she is capable of creating clones of herself that perform devastating fire and lightning attacks, so caution is advised. Before the battle begins, it might be useful to equip a fire-resistant or lightning-resistant accessory on Jaster. Furthermore, it might be a good idea to use Strength Stars and Guardian Spheres to raise Jaster’s attack power and defense, as he does not have any ability buffs that do so. Be very liberal with healing as well, as it does not take much to down Jaster. A game over screen will result in you having to restart the battle from the beginning.
Use Jaster’s Illusion Sword to inflict damage on Johanna. She moves quickly, so you might only be able to use the projectiles to damage her. She will eventually create clones of herself that are capable of using strong fire and lightning attacks. Use Desert Wind to dispose of them and also inflict damage on Johanna as well. Be sure to always be on the move so you do not get hit by the clones’ powerful attacks while your Action Gauge replenishes.
Halfway through the fight, Jaster will enter Star King mode. He becomes more powerful, but don’t get complacent. Always keep Jaster’s health up, dispose of Johanna’s clones quickly and keep attacking her with Illusion Sword and she will go down.
