How to unlock the Sinful Memory achievement in Romancing SaGa 2 - Definitive Guide

This bad boy boss is at the end of the "red" maze. The maze of memory is located south of the witches hut in south longit. This boss has 2 nasty aoe fire attacks as well as an aoe charge physical attack. He also has single target attacks which are less threatening as long as you have high defense. Make sure to equip fire circlets if you got em as this will totally NEGATE all fire damage. The fire ring is less useful as this just lowers damage taken but if you got it wear it. Finally make sure to cast self Immolation if you have it as this also NEGATES fire damage. As long as you have these items and spells this fight isn't too bad. I struggled at first but once I got a 2nd fire circlet and self Immolation I finally beat it. The other memories are whole other animals. I'll put up guides for those once I beat em.

If anyone is curious, I recorded my damage output to this boss and can estimate it's max HP. In six rounds I managed to dish out 52,790 damage for the kill, but he healed at the end of each round for 999 HP. I'm guessing it's an even 50KHP. Likely similar with the other memory bosses.

Also, you can cheese this fight (and the four other "memory" fights) with the Hasten Time spell, which is the last water spell you can learn. It's description states that it speeds up allies, but it actually causes the boss to miss it's turn, too. So, it actually gives you a free turn. The boss didn't act once in my 6 turn romp since I casted it every turn. The only downside it it's 36MP to cast.

Just confirming my above message - all four of the "memory" bosses have about 50K HP and the Hasten Time trick works on them all.

Just finished the Dread Queen, also. Hasten Time does not work on her, and she has 2 forms. First form has 55K HP, second form has 65K HP. The two forms are actually two different fights, as well, so you'll get healed and cured of any status ailments between them - but your SP and MP do not replenish. You'll also have to recast any buffs at the beginning of form 2 you may need.

There isn't a Dread Queen solution, but I wanted to log this information somewhere and this seemed like the second best place.
