-Beat the Bowhemoth (just beat him that's all, no time limit or death counter)
Once you do this the achievement should pop. No DLC content required.

Just to add - my progress was stuck on 98% once getting 3 medals on all adventure mode levels. I had already beaten the bowhemoth. The achievement popped as soon as I backed out of adventure mode.

Thanks I8ITackyticsI8I, I had the same problem and quitting out of adventure mode worked!
