How to unlock the Haters Gonna Hate achievement in Saints Row: The Third Remastered - Definitive Guide

This achievement will unlock through natural progression through the main story and playing the game in general, so by killing 1000 gang members that does mean all rival GANGS, NOT police officers or S.T.A.G, every time you go up 100 it will show you as it will go 100,200,300 and so on until this achievement unlocks!

To anyone wondering, you should get this long before you even finish the main story. Add the side activities and gang operations to this, and you get it faster than you think.

This will unlock well before you complete the main story. There’s an ingame tracker which notifies you every 100 kills with a ‘Haters gonna hate’ progress bar. You can’t track it via the stats menu on your mobile phone though. Only gang members count, killing police/STAG/pedestrians don’t count.

As the achievement description says: kill 1000 gang members. The three types of gang members are:

  • Morningstar: Gang members dressed in red and black. They drive around in red and black vehicles with a star labeled somewhere on the hood.
  • Deckers: Gang members dressed in blue mechanized clothing with katanas strapped to their backs. They drive around in blue and white vehicles labeled with a type of skull graffiti.
  • Luchadores: Gang members dressed in bright green clothing and resemble Lucha Libre wrestlers. They drive around in bright green vehicles.

Each gang member will appear as a red dot on your mini-map. Just don’t confuse them with police officers. This achievement will come naturally playing through the game.

Get it according to the plot, just kill at the first opportunity, you can do it when missions with STAG (Boar) begin, there is a mission when you need to protect saints in the SSVP - I got about 100 kills on this mission, which I didn’t have enough for before 8)

I got to capture the territory of the second island. Just cause mayhem more often (increase your fame in gangs or in the police to 2 or more stars). You can kill up to 100 people at a time! Upgrade your Shepherd pistol to level 4 (stun enemies). It will be possible to shoot down helicopters with it Also upgrade your hard drive (rate of fire) and machine gun (fire cartridges). It will be possible to kill with one cartridge. Another useful detail is the “two machine guns” and “two pistols” abilities.
