How to unlock the Coastrock achievement in Salt and Sanctuary - Definitive Guide

MISSABLE

This trophy requires you to talk to the Despondent Thief in all locations through the game, exhausting her dialogue options. This is highly missable, as the NPC will disappear if you do not meet her in time (i.e. progress through the game).

The Despondent Thief will be in the following locations:

  • Castle of Storms – She is located after the Kraekan Wyrm boss, left and down from the boss area. Talk to her and you will receive the Shadowflip Brand.
  • Red Hall of Cages – Prior to the three-wheel elevator, you will find two walls side by side. You can wall jump towards the top of them to get to a secret room. There, you will need to use the Vertigo Brand to get on the floor above and find her.
  • Hager’s Cavern – Keep heading upwards on this area, from the sanctuary. She is located at the top right corner of the cavers. You will need to wall jump to get to her, in a dim area. Make sure you answer “Yes” to her question to continue your progress on this trophy.
  • The Far Beach – She will be sitting at a boat, at plain sight. This is where you are rewarded this trophy.

You can miss the trophy!!
1.First encountered in the story in Castle of Storms after killing Kraekan Wyrm, she will give Shadowflip Brand
2. In the Red Hall of Cages, go down from the shelter until you see a room with three wheels - elevators, climb them and go a little to the right, you need to get to the room with the thief by jumping from the walls, she sits at the very top left
3. In Hager's Cavern, rise as high as possible from the shelter, we get there again by jumping from the walls and talk, answer “yes” to everything and go kill the boss
4.Last meeting at The Far Beach, you can get there in different ways, the simplest one is:
from the Red Hall of Cages shelter we go to the right without going anywhere until you reach the edge of the map

To get this trophy you need to complete the thief questline:
1. Talk to her in the Castle of Storms location, after killing the Kraekan Wyrm boss. Just get the second ability from her.
2. Talk to her in the Red Hall of Cages location. From the shelter, go down until you see a room with three elevator wheels, go up to the room above them and then to the upper left corner. This must be done before killing the boss The Tree of Men ; after killing it, she will not appear!!!
3. Talk to her in the Hager's Cavern location. Located above the sanctuary at the very top. We answer “Yes” to all questions. After you talk, go kill the boss Disemboweled Husk.
4. Talk to her near the boatman in The Far Beach location and the trophy is yours .
