How to unlock the The Palace achievement in Salt and Sanctuary - Definitive Guide

Story related. Cannot be missed.

The Nameless God is the final boss of the game. He is located at The Still Palace. His attacks are based on physical and arcane damage. He is strong against all elemental damage, so focus on attacking him with your weapon of choice.

The boss arena is quite dark, so a Ring of Brilliance can be of help, though it is not entirely needed. It is found at the Hager’s Cavern, across a long collapsible platform.

To get to this boss you will always suffer some fall damage. Activate your healing item right before the boss area to have full health at the beginning of the fight.

The Nameless God will perform the following attacks:

  • Sword throw – The Nameless God will throw his sword onto the air, which will be teleported to right above your character. The sword will fall and deal knockback damage. When it teleports back to his hand, he will perform a slash attack. Roll past it and attack the boss.
  • Slash Combo – The boss may slash his sword up to four times in a row in a single combo. He can change the direction midway through it, so beware.
  • Charge Attack – The boss will charge and stab with his sword. Roll through him and attack his back as he gets past you. An alternate charge attack might happen, where he tries to grab you to headbutt.
  • Kick – The boss will kick you. It can be followed by a slash combo after a few steps.
  • Arcane Projectiles – The Nameless God will float above the ground and summon many projectiles that go in a straight line.

Upon victory, you will receive: The Nameless God’s Ashes.

Beware that if you progress through the stage after his death you will not be able to return. Cleanup your playthrough before you achieve one of the two endings.

I discovered a glitch. If you are standing close to the left wall, and the boss makes a grab, then he can slam you into the wall (the screen becomes lighter in this case), and finishing him off is much easier. many blows do not reach you, and you can also “push him aside” with your attacks, and he will be inactive - at this time you can finish him off with a ranged weapon

Excellent damage dealt with a two-handed hammer, 1.5-2 times more than with a sword.

A very easy boss for a mage. We strip down to our underpants, run, keep our distance and throw fireballs.

For warfare with a two-handed sword, you can use GoldenVine. It significantly increases attack power and physical defense. This miracle potion is given as a reward for leveling up the House of splendor creed, the third of four offered to choose from.

The boss is not difficult, you will understand this, you can roll away from any attack, the main thing is to know when to hit, he does not give you the opportunity to strike at all. If you have something to shoot, shoot. I killed with a scissors sword level 106 strength was 50

Stock up on cans after upgrading your sanctuary, 12 cans will definitely be enough. The boss has no power-up phases, the attacks are formulaic and the boss is easy to kite.
