The Coveted is located at The Ruined Temple. The boss fight consists in you fighting two ghosts which may wield an axe. The curious thing about this boss is that the boss is the axe itself, not the ghosts. Thus, you have to damage it to kill him, as the ghosts are invulnerable to damage.

You do not have to fight this boss to get to the final area, thus making this a missable trophy.

The boss’ attacks are based on physical and holy damage. He is weak against arcane; he is strong against slash. Frequently, one of the ghosts will wield the axe, while the other will shoot projectiles at you. They may throw it at one point, though they will retrieve it right after it. Both upon falling and retrieving the axe, a wave of damage around it will be spread.

When they are not wielding the axe, take the opportunity to land some hits on it.

Besides throwing and retrieving the axe, the boss will perform:

• Spin Attack – The boss will spin the axe, charging forward. Try to keep away from it, or roll through.
• Slash Attack – The phantom will slash the axe downwards in front of him.
• Arcane Projectiles – The phantom may throw arcane projectiles in your direction, up to three in a row. The third shot will always contain an additional projectile for extra damage.

Upon victory, you will receive: The Coveted’s Ashes.
