Go to options and make sure your settings are as follows:

Game Level: 8

To obtain this trophy you must complete Arcade Mode on the hardest difficulty (Level 8) without adjusting any other setting. As referenced in Full Roster, the difficulty of the Final Boss is what you really have to worry about, as the initial opponent's are easy enough to defeat. For all opponents leading up to the final boss, I recommend using Amakusa, as he is a strong zoning character that can keep the opponent at bay. His basic gameplan is as follows:

• At round start use his invincible teleport (214 , his other version 236 allows him to travel forward) once you're at a safe distance away from the opponent you can use 236 or 236 fireballs to keep the opponent at bay.
   
• If the opponent starts jumping over your fireballs, you can use your crouching + anti air to keep them grounded. The anti-air covers about half of the screen, making it great for catching jumps.
   
• If the opponent is getting closer to mid range distance, use his x2 and crouching + attacks to knock them down: which will allow you enough time to teleport to the opposite corner. Additionally his jump + attack is another good way to retreat while attacking, as it prevents the opponent from chasing you given the orb's angle.
   
• If you are knocked down, then as a last resort Amakusa has a reversal (623 ) but many of the CPU's will block it. You may be better off just using wakeup teleport.

As well as this strategy may work on other opponents, it is near useless against the final boss as it's almost impossible to zone him consistently. Given his ability to teleport to you, all he needs is to dodge one of your fireball or orb attacks and he will be on top of you. It's because of this, why I recommend using Haomaru so below is a video showing how I defeated him using a combination of strong slash and 236 :

Once you have defeated Demon Gaoh, the trophy will unlock.
