This is possibly the easiest achievement on the game, next to the 'Press Start' one you unlock at the beginning! Ok so just start up a race, any difficulty, any track, any conditions and complete the first lap, as you come to finish the lap, enter the pitlane which is normally located at the beginning of the start/finish straight, depending on the course. As soon as it enters AUTODRIVE mode, the achievement will pop.

From the main menu select Arcade, then Quick Race (when here select race options and make sure the race length is over 10% so you do more than one lap). Start the race and complete most of the first lap but when coming towards the starting line go off into the pits instead. You don’t have to do anything once in there, just let autodrive do it’s job and the trophy comes while that goes on.
