You must complete all 8 seasons and the achievement pops after the last race in 2017, I`ve been told that if you fail to meet your teams ambitions you will get fired, and have to restart your career, so make sure you meet the end of season requirement

You have to get through all 8 seasons and when you complete that you will earn this trophy. This is best earned when going for It's a long way to the top since getting all the components requires almost all seasons to be played. If you do this with an STK team you will have less races in the year and only 1 race each weekend so the career takes less time.
