How to unlock the Casting Call achievement in Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! - Definitive Guide

Really simple-play any single player mode (short, long, fast-fire) and pick a new avatar every time. For time's sake I recommend doing this as you shoot for other achievements as well.

the list:
Starlet
Sci-fi Cadet
Martial Artist
Horror Queen
Warrior
Super Hero
Mummy
Disco Girl
Desperado
Swashbuckler
Leading Man
Action Hero

Thanks for the solution. Thought I would add a little note. I don't know if it was gliching on me or what, but I play through each avatar twice (figured I missed one) on short games and no achievement. So I tried playing each avatar through long games and thats when the achievement unlocked me. If others are having the same issue hopefully this helps.

I tried each avatar as well, and it didn't unlock for me either. I believe they mean long games. Beats me which avatars I used for long or short/fast fire games, so I will have to start all over again I guess. The last three I know I did on Fast Fire, so perhaps they mean Short and Long games for this one, Fast Fire isn't a very long game.

I went through each avatar, noting which game type I played. A mix of short, long, ff didn't get it to pop. When I replayed everything in FF, I got it once I had used the avatars I had previously only used in Long play. So short play and FF worked best for me.

I can also confirm that FAST FIRE works, as I got it this way tonight. I had been cycling the characters in LONG/SHOT games while my kids played along. This will NOT work. The games must be in SINGLE PLAYER - outside of that, settings don't appear to matter.

I also had a struggle with this one--after going through all of the characters at least twice each with no luck(albeit through different sessions), I finally got the achievement by running through all characters in a single session. And yes, Fast Fire games DO count; that is what worked for me.

I have yet to get this to pop as well. I have played a mixture of Short, Long, and Fast Fire and didn't get the achievement. I have played through with each avatar once and am working through a 2nd time. I have only played 1 Fast Fire game, and have played 4 games Single Player without a 2nd person/controller logged in playing as well. I've played 15 games all together now and have yet to get the 10 games and 15 games achievements either. Does it have to be Single Player for these achievements or can you get them while playing with another controller?

I unlocked this achievement tonight and I can guarantee that it does unlock by playing fast-fire. I have only played about three or four short/long games and it unlocked for me when i finished the last avatar on the rotation on a fast-fire game. So just play fast fire and get every question wrong to make it go quicker and within a half hour you will have it.

OK after much trial and error and probably over 40 or 50 games, easily and finally having it pop (during a Fast Fire game) I think the key is that it doesn't matter which mode you play (Long or Fast Fire) as long as they are all in the SAME mode. I don't think short mode counts unless my game is just glitchy - which I haven't discounted that yet.

Also, since I'm having trouble with some of my other "accumulative" achievements popping (but noticing that I had my 5 and 10 game achievements from a long time ago), I decided to move my profile BACK from my memory disk and onto my hard drive and also to try the trick of manually choosing my profile from the character screen at the beginning of EACH game.

I ran through each game like this on short game and nothing happened so I began runnig through each game on Fast Fire like this and I got this achievement about 1/2 way through. (I had already played some Fast Fire games previously on random characters.)

I am hoping to start popping some of my 100 question achievements and my 15 game achievement soon (and frankly I'm afraid to turn my xbox off until I do as I have noticed that this game doesn't want to save my data and I don't want to chance it.) if I can stand it long enough and they start popping, I will update this solution in those achievement categories as well. Please do let me know if this helps you, especially if yours has been as glitchy as mine, and especially because if, for some reason I have to stop playing, I don't know if I have the wherewithal to start playing it again from scratch one more time so I'm curious if this helps anyone else start "accumulating" answers again. Hopefully this will work for those of us with buggy games. :)
