How to unlock the Faster Than Light achievement in Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! - Definitive Guide
Again, this is not a very good “guide”, but more of a collection of tips, or just plain advice.
This is very tough. You can only play with one controller. You really need to have everything memorized. You need to be able to answer the child’s play, sketches, pictograms, pixel flix, and well, pretty much anything RIGHT away. I mean RIGHT away. Movie clips are your friend here. They show the question with plenty of time before the clock starts, there are only 3 questions worth a total of 30,000 points. So you can get 30k with only using about 3 seconds of your clock. All puzzle blocks are worth 30k total.
You need to have the pace of 100k for every minute in the game. 50k for every 30 seconds, etc. Keep this in mind in case you get way behind, you’ll be better off starting over.
The puzzle blocks that take forever are credit roll, visual puzzles, who am I, and all the ones that take time to reveal more clues. YOU NEED TO KNOW THESE FROM THE FIRST CLUE.
The clock penalty is lower the longer you take to answer the question. What I mean by that is if you have 10 seconds to answer the question, and you get it wrong in 0 seconds, it takes off 10 seconds of your remaining time. But if you take 9 seconds to answer, and answer wrong, it only takes 1 second MORE off. Either way 10 seconds comes off the time you had at the start of the question if you get it wrong. So answering a question right in 5 seconds is better than getting it wrong in 0 seconds because you save 5 seconds and you get points.
Sequential and strike a match waste a lot of time, but since you can guess until you get it right it’s still not as bad as getting them wrong. Different types of puzzle blocks have different time penalty. I think it has to do with the allowed time to answer the question, but I could be wrong about that.

Totally agree with this. An answer guide will help a little, but you really have to answer quickly so knowing most of the answers really helps.

Here is my answer sheet. It's done in excel and I shared the file online so no downloads required. I don't believe you can edit it though, but I'm hoping 99% of the answers are in there.
Warning: This will not guarantee your achievement, but I was able to get it on the NTSC and EU version using this, so it definitely helps. You need to play several, several games and memorize most of the pictures/videos/soundclips before you stand a chance at this.
NOTE: i put a tips section in on the first page. I wish everyone the best of luck
