Before you start your game make sure that stars are turned on. During the game you will earn stars for either doing very well, or possibly for doing very poorly. Doing well, however will earn you more stars. Once you have earned those stars, simply keep them instead of using them for the duration of the game. The achievement will unlock as soon as the game is over.
