Use a second controller. Have Player 2 enter the Konami Code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A), while holding LT+RT. This will instantly kill them. Have Player 1 revive them by standing next to the downed player and tapping B. After repeating this 25 times, the achievement'll pop for Player 1.
An added bonus to this method is that Player 1 should also gain 1000+ in cash.

I DO know the Konami Code but would be helpful for some gamers that don't =P Just a suggestion...

You need 2 controllers, and 2 accounts. start up a game with friendly fire on and 1st player as strong as possible, and 2nd player as weak as possible. Kill 2nd player and you should see a clock above their head counting down from 9. walk up and tap the b button above there head and they'll revive, repeat until achievement pops and blam-o, another 20 gamerscore

I can add that this achievement is cumulative and has not to be done in one season or with the same character. I used a new character and got this after 1 reanimation (of course, I already did 24 on other days with other characters).

Get to the shopping district on Stage 1, clear the enemies here so you can be in peace by the rental video store
On controller 2 Hold L2 and R2. While holding hit up up down down left right left right X circle.
This will cause the character to die but drop $50.00 in canadian moola.
Revive the second player with controller one, and pickup the coins. Repeat ti trophy and enjoy your riches
