You have to complete a single stage with at least one other player.
Go to Xbox Live > Create Lobby > Press A to confirm the settings > Invite your boosting partner.

Choose Wales and Great Orme for a short stage. Now both have to finish the race. There is a 40 second countdown after the first player cross the finish line. The other player have to cross line before the time runs out... otherwise it's a DNF and only one player unlock the achievement.

It's come to my attention that when boosting with someone, try to own the car. If the booster is new, the car category you want is 2WD Rookie since that's their starter car. We did 5-6 races with rentals before trying to use his one owned car and the achievement finally unlocked for him. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I guess it couldn't hurt.

The game has extreme problems with Multiplayer right now.
You can't connect with a Friend i tried everything i also wrote to the support and searched on many forums and nothing helped at the time.
Do you have any Ideas how to fix it?

Strange, looking at the recent winner list, it was possible to boost/play together earlier this month. I really can't help you with this, just with the usual stuff you can try out like changing the role of the host, checking both NAT Types via console network check, try different methods to join (per invite, per join game tab in the friends profile section, per searching for a lobby directly) - if nothing works, informing the support + waiting for a response or just trying it later again is the only thing you can do i guess?
