How to unlock the Sébastien, the legend achievement in Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO - Definitive Guide

You can find the Loeb Experience in the main menu and you have to complete 27 events to unlock this achievement.

First things first: Change the difficulty to rookie and lower or even deactivate autobreak.

I'm pretty sure you don't have many problems with most of the events afterwards. Some events have specific goals like "be the fastest in all sectors" and need some practice. If you see "Joker Lap" in the upper left corner you have to use an optional route to tick the checkbox and pass the goal.

Sometimes you have to beat a specific time and this can be real challenge. "25 seconds" is probably the hardest event of the game. Here is my advice for the 25 second event: change autobreak to 1. With 10 you can't beat the time and without autobreak you really have to master the track.

You can look at the right corner to see your current time or you can use the leading time/distance (after passing a checkpoint) as indicator. That's at least what i did and i want to share the times of my last 2 attempts. As you can see there is room for error.
14,5 > 25,5 > 36,6 > 43,7 > GOAL (6.08.450) = too slow
14,3 > 25,9 > 34,7 > 44,0 > GOAL (6.06.291) = passed

In early attempts i only had around 12 seconds after the first checkpoint. It's important to keep a little bit momentun after the curve before the last long straight with the trees at both sides (it's the last long straight before the first checkpoint) - also don't brake too much in the last curves before the checkpoints. Try to master the first section, because the 2 seconds can make the difference at the end of the race.

For the 3 laps and "beat 40 seconds" event i think it's better to deactivate autobreak completely. Maybe i was lucky, but i passed the time after my third attempt. I also used no autobreak for the last 4 events, because the car was super easy to control and the times are not THAT hard to beat, but feel free to use autobreak 1 if you want.

You have to complete all other events to unlock the last event. It's the longest race and the first time i had no rewinds left at the last sector and of course i messed up the whole event. So make sure to drive a bit carefully. Needless to say it can be annoying to restart a 9 minute event, but at least it's easier than the 25 seconds events, because in my final run i crashed into a stone just AFTER using rewind and i stucked for 8 seconds and still passed the time.

Good luck!

Just completed the 25 seconds challenge using your tip to knock auto-brake down to 1 but found i had to take it to 0 to complete the challenge

I had it set to 10 (which was frustrating but didn't even know of the setting before reading here) - anyway, with it at 10, i was setting times of ~6:27. Then when i dropped it to 1 - i got down to ~6:17

Decided to try at 0 and first sector was tough (used 5 rewinds) but got there at -15s so knew i was onto something. Completed the course using just 1 more rewind and a time of 6:05:72

So thanks for the tip

I was really struggling with some of these and despite reading several guides and solutions, I stumbled across one simple answer that worked like a dream.

- set difficulty to SEMI-PRO!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of challenges I had to attempt a couple of times but with this setting you should sail through them, and in my opinion made the cars more fun to drive as well
