@warm slurm, same problem here -.- I bought this a second time today for the multiplayer achievements.....

i asked a couple of the guys who got the achievement today/past couple of days and they mostly said they just kept trying it and it uploaded eventually...

i'm gonna just try every so often throughout the week. maybe in the middle of the night if i can -- the servers might not be straining as much.

Doesn't work anymore. Tried it a couple of times! Glad that this would've been my first achievement in the game!

of course it works, it's just random. you think they shut off the servers for the upload replay thing in the middle of the day yesterday? i don't think so.

No-one has unlocked it since the 4th. So unless you know someone with a time stamp stating the opposite we will continue to assume so.

I've been trying this pretty much all day today and yesterday, maybe they shut the video upload service down early? I would hate to see that happen :(

Hope not because it means that I will have little time between now and Friday to complete the rest. Won't start it with this achievement not working.

I think they shut it down when they got to the office Monday morning. Looking at the time stamps this seems to be the case. No big deal, it isn't the end of the world.

OMG IT WORKED!!! Just did it literally two minutes ago at about 10:30 UK time. So if you see this hurry up and do it! So happy. <3

Thanks for the info, I tried this earlier this morning and it still wasn't working, but just tried now and it worked perfectly!

I've been trying now for the past 10 minutes and keep getting failed to connect. :(

After 10 more minutes of repeatedly trying, I was just about ready to give up and it finally connected and uploaded. YAY!

^ It will take a while to connect, but I also was still able to. Knock this out while it's still available!

Of course I am out of town until Sunday. Help!

@ x j3s x Can you post in the thread as well what achievements are needed to be done in MP. A bit confused with the challenge achievements.

@matdan12 I think that with the challenge achievements, all you'll need to worry about doing is the last 2 challenges for each mountain (They are the online only challenges) The rest of the challenges can be completed solo. Basically as long as you get those online challenges out of the way, you can worry about getting the rest for the achievements later.

It's also worth mentioning that, because the game is system link capable, all of these achievements, with the exception of Generation 2.0, should still be attainable after the servers shut down.

It's also worth noting that only the uploading a video achievement runs on servers and the multiplayer is peer to peer and can't be shut down.

Just got it, phew. If it doesn't work right away, try restarting the game and when it's loading the video into the editor push START already. That's how I got it to connect.

Seems to be broken at the moment. Been trying on an alt account (with Gold) to upload a video and it says failed to connect every time.

For anyone interested..

I spoke with someone at Ubisoft, albeit in a completely unrelated department, on Wednesday evening who said he believed that the Shaun White servers were in fact "shut down early". For the sake of the TA and SW community, he graciously agreed to see what he could do in order to get the media server turned back on before the official death date of the 8th. I just received an e-mail confirming that the server would indeed be brought back online, and went ahead and personally tested it myself before posting here. As of right now, the achievement is once again obtainable. That being said, I would strongly suggest getting this done as soon as possible. From what I have been told, if the server crashes or goes down before the official shut down time, it is highly unlikely that it will be rebooted or brought back online again.

Not only you need the gold subsciption, you need an account on ubisoft's website.
Didn't had one, and the vid didn't upload. I registered myself and it popped up as soon I uploaded it

i got my first achievement for winning a online event while playing system link with my 2nd xbox so this was the only achievement bugging me , spent a couple hour try to connect on different day, so THANKS and thanks the person at Ubisoft if possible

@matdan12 Completing all of the online achievements would consist of doing the following:

1. Generation 2.0 - Upload a video.

2. New Kid on the Block - Win any event online.

3. High Stakes & The Gambler - Win 40K in an online betting event. May be possible via system link, haven't tested it myself.

4. Mecha Shredzilla - Earn 1,000,000 respect points online. Can be done solo and is easily glitchable.

5. Multiple/Various - Complete every challenge online. Most can be done solo in a private session, but there are 2 challenges per mountain (Rat Race and King of the Hill) that must be done with at least one other person (you don't have to actually win the events, you just need to earn at least one medal). There is an achievement for completing the achievements for each respective mountain, and one for completing all of them combined as well.

I think that would cover it.
