How to unlock the It’s Over 9000 achievement in Shing! - Definitive Guide

You can do this as early as stage 3. When a power up orb drops, just switch to an unused character and collect it. Then switch back to your original character. The orb you collected will remain applied to the character that picked it up. This avoids the power up being consumed while you advance to collect another. Do this 3 more times with different power orbs, and when you collect the 4th one on that same character, the achievement will unlock.

You can select buffs for one character and switch immediately to another, so as not to waste them. When a new type of bonus appears, switch to a hero with buffs and pick it up. Easily done at the fifth level, where many buffs of 5 types drop out.
