Sadly, you must replay to get caught since the first playthrough is going 6/6 on NOT being caught.
The 1st scene where she chases is considered a tutorial, you can't get caught here. I tried.
Lucky for us the 2nd time she tries to catch you is right after, I was angry that I had to keep playing :D

There are 6 encounters with Mother, just let her catch you once. Please beware that there is also an achievement for not getting killed by her at all, so a partial playthrough may be needed for this, unless you can trick the game into thinking this never happened.
