So, there are only ten of these and you have to get ALL of them for the achievement? If true, then I have to play through the game again, because I missed the on inside the electric fence. redface

iff you missed 1 or 2 in your firs tplaythrough, like me playing without a guide. Make sure you buy it ASAP on your new game playthrough and forget about the other hero upgrades. as soon as you buy your first upgrade for the one you missed you will unlock the achievement

Yep, I missed it... I was hoping maybe the alternate locations are in case you missed one earlier on, but sadly that was not the case. Looks like I need to pick this up on my hard playthrough.

Using MarkysOldTag's words:

I missed:
Once you have killed the boss on the train continue your path until you use a movable box to jump over a wire fence, once you jump over walk up the stairs and immediately turn around when at the top to find it behind you.

And it was not here for me:
When you travel back in time again to get the passcode. The first room you enter (before going on the 2nd elevator), has a few side-rooms and it's in one of them on the wrap-around table.

E99 Tech Geek Guide
PLEASE NOTE: Many people have now confirmed that some of these locations can be different, it is currently unclear what makes them appear in different places but it is usually number 9+10 in a different place so possible locations only have been listed for these 2

1. Once you return to 2010 you will find the first blueprint on the desk in the room you start in.

2. Once you use the TMD to lift your first object fall down te hole then follow the path around before going through the door look to your right to find it on the floor.

3. After you climb some boxes outside near a train cart and fight off several regular soldiers this is in the corner at the bottom of the stairs.

4. Once you get inside the electric fence where you have to fend of waves of enemies go upstairs and it will be straight ahead of you against the wall.

5. Once told to meet Barisov in the control tower and just after using Deadlock on the second fan, take you next two lefts turnings and then take a right and its on a wooden box next to a note.

6. Straight after the previous one, go through the door and its on the desk in front of you.

7. Once you rescue Kathryn take the first door on your right and there are 2 hero upgrades side by side in this room

8. Once you rescue Kathryn take the first door on your right and there are 2 hero upgrades side by side in this room

Possible locations for 9.

Once inside the boat, check every room, its inside a bunk on a bed next to a note, sorry I cant be any more precise on this one as I just can’t see how else to describe it, its after you find the E99 Specimen by using the Dethex Launcher.

Maybe because you haven't unlocked the achievement yet yourself. I think your solution is OK, just passing on what I've noticed...

i discovered a hero upgrade in a different location from any of these. at the very end of the section where u have to be quiet with the blind monsters there will be a long hallway with the automatic TMD upgrade at the end. before u get to the upgrade there will be a panel on the right hand side next to a door that u can age and the door will open. the bio was in the back left corner on a crate with some other goodies. another note the upgrade i got was the one i missed after the electric fence part called "Inventory"

You should swap the two options for number 9, since the one you list second, you actually come to first... I think I missed it.

for the first one you listed, there's multiple times when you return to 2010 in the game and it's not the first time you return to 2010 that you find the blueprint in the same room that you start in, you should have said right after you get the TMD otherwise people might think you mean right after saving Demichev from the fire

is it possible to buy all 10 Hero Upgrades and 5 TMD upgrades in one playthrough? Seems like way too much E99. And with the Hero upgrades, you just need to buy the first level of each one right?

Throughout the game you will find character upgrades in the form of Bio-Formulas. They appear similar to the notes, a six inch square of paper that glows like other important items. Using E99 tech, you can buy these Hero Perks at the various Augmentor stations throughout the game. Though some Hero Perks have multiple levels that you can buy, the key word in the trophy description is different. Buying three levels of Heartiness for example, will only count once towards your 10. Also, purchasing the Weapon Upgrade selection under Hero Perks does not count towards this total.

Here are the locations of the 10 abilities I found throughout the game.
1. After saving Barisov from being executed by Demichev and returning to 2010 through the rift, the bio-formula will be on one of the counters near the middle of the room.

2. After receiving the first TMD upgrade for TMD Gravity, lift the debris out of the way of the hole and drop down. Proceed down the short u-shaped corridor and it will be in the corner before you go through the door.

3. When "Subject Alpha", the large Zek busts through the wall, drop down into the train yard and go to the far left corner next to the stairs. At the foot of the stairs will be the bio-formula.

4. Inside Barisov's failing electric fence, go up the stairs and you will find the formula in the corner of the far wall.

5. On your way to meet Barisov in the control tower, you will find the bio-formula in the ventilation tunnels. After stopping the fan with deadlock, you will climb a short ladder into a vent. Instead of following the chrono footsteps to the right, go left and you will find the bio-formula on a crate on the right hand side of the corridor. (stamina)

6. After obtaining #5, take the right path and go through the door. You will see the bio-formula on the counter directly in front of you. (medic)

7 & 8. Immediately after rescuing Kathryn from being tied to a chair, exit the room and turn left. Straight across the hall, through the doorway, you will see two bio-formulas on the control panel against the far wall. (defense & ?)

9. Early in the central docks level, there will be a place where you have to pull a box back into phase in order to use it to jump over a metal gate. once on the other side, go to the right and up the stairs. The bio-formula will be in a little alcove at the top of the stairs to the left, a little behind the staircase (to the right of the staircase if you're looking down them). (tmd ammo)

10. While on the Pearl, you will have a vision of a man asking you to "open the door" to mark the entrance of the crew quarters. Right as you enter the door, there will be a room just to the left of the entrance with a note and bio-formula on the bed.(armor)

Apparently the possibility exists that Bio-Formula 9 will sometimes appear in a different location. Thanks to PowerCobra98 for confirming the alternate location of this formula:
I can now 100% confirm that the alternate location for the last formula is during the E99 Processing Complex. When you go back to 1955 to get the passcode and BEFORE you get on the 2nd elevator there is a room with a wrap around counter top and the formula is on that counter. The room is right outside of the elevator. Do not enter the elevator until you have picked it up or you'll be S.O.L.

There are 10 different Hero Upgrades gained from finding Bio Formulas which look like little opened books. They are all in set locatations except for 1 of them which appears on one of two different levels. To make sure you get them all, you can follow the guide HERE.

The 9th bioformula is random and can be in two places... watch the video carefully, both places are shown

Probably the most tricky trophy in a single company.

The difficulty is to get this trophy, you need to find 10 blueprints (drawings), which are well hidden.

If you play carefully, you won't miss a single one. When you have all 10 drawings (you will receive the last one almost at the end of the game, in the place where, according to the plot, you will make your way to the epicenter), go to the improvement of your skills and set one item for each skill in the last Hero tab.

yes, I forgot to say, improving weapons, which will be the very last point, does not count, and by and large, it’s not really needed in the game at all.

Carefully! The trophy is easy to miss.
