Solasta: Crown of the Magister

SellSword Background is powerful, as it gives light and medium armor proficiency to any class, including mages, rogues, and bards. Athletics, Intimidation, and an extra language are nice, too. The quest is pretty easy but does involve some back and forth.

Annie Bagmordah will give you the quest after you return to Caer Cyflen from Coparann. You'll need to return to Coparann. Find Mildred at the inn. Talk to the sergeant, who will give you a note to get the keys to your family house. Visit the Archivist in the dungeons to get the keys. Leave Coparann to your home nearby. Sneak under the fireplace and find a note. As you leave, Soraks will attack. Return to Mildred. Return to the Archivist, who is a traitor with two soraks helping him.

Have one of your party with the Sellsword background and play through the background side quest that will trigger part way through the game
