Space Invaders Infinity Gene

All UFO's is actually just one (or has been every time I've started a game). Stage 0 is the prologue that looks exactly like original Space Invaders (before the action pauses & the Darwin quote appears). After a few seconds a single bonus UFO will fly across the top of the screen. Simply shoot it & the achievement is yours - it will not pop, however, until you finish your current game.

When you start the Normal game mode for the first time, you will enter stage 0, which you will see is a classic level from the retro days. Shortly into this level, a UFO will appear from the left or right hand side at the top of the screen. This is the only one you need to get. Shoot it down as soon as you can, there is not a lot of time to do this. If you dont get it first time round, you can restart the level from the level select menu in Normal mode. (it took me 4 tries myself!)

Once you have shot it down and the level has ended, you will enter the IG Normal mode. From here, you have to play on until you die (or quickly kill yourself 3 times) and get to the game over screen for this one to unlock, so once you have shot the UFO, whatever you do, do not quit out.

Easy achievement, takes less than 5 minutes to complete

2. From the Main Menu select - Start Game - Normal

3. You will be on a map screen with LEVEL 1 "Common Descent (PLAY STAGE 0 scrolling)" highlighted. Continue on with A button

4. Choose the RAPID weapon

2. Getting the achievement
1. When you spawn you will see a grid of enemies above you

2. An enemy UFO/flying saucer (separate from the group of enemies) will spawn from the Left side of the screen (was always Left for me I think) -- quickly shoot and kill the UFO so that it disappears. You can now start killing other enemies and the round will end pretty quickly.

3. If the round ends before you kill the UFO or if it is an a spot where you can't shoot it, exit the match via the pause screen and try again from the start (make sure to select the DESCENT level from the map screen again)

4. After you successfully destroy the UFO you will load into the next level (1-1) run into an enemy so that you die and exhaust all of your lives so that you Game Over.

5. Achievement will pop on the 2nd screen of the Results menus

SO EASY

Start game
Be on far left side
Hold down A button to kill the “boss”
Clear level
Run into the descending projectiles killing yourself
Die 3 times
When your stats come up, go to 2nd page
DONT quit
