How to unlock the Hard pressed achievement in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions - Definitive Guide

This achievement is stackable with other difficulties.

I would recommend playing through on Normal or Easy first (the game is pretty easy even on Normal) to unlock the majority of the character and combat upgrades. Make sure to focus on Character upgrades to get maximum durations for special abilities and maximum health/regen.

On Hard, enemies take more damage to kill and inflict quite a bit more damage. If you've already played through once, not only will you have most of the upgrades but you will know the boss patterns and what is expected in each level.

Some of the most difficult parts are defending civilians/scientists while they work on something. The Y+B move you can unlock is great in these cases as it hits a wide area and stuns the enemies before they can damage the civilians. Along with that, the airborne Y stomp hits a wide area and stuns enemies. Since they are timed and you don't have to beat all the enemies, simply jumping in place and slamming down with Y repeatedly can usually buy enough time. Don't forget to use Rage or Accelerated Vision if they are available.

While you playthrough on Hard, focus on doing a lot of different combos and picking up spider emblems. This will allow you to get platinum medals in both of those categories (you probably won't get Platinum in time unless you really rush it) so you will be 2/3 of the way toward getting the Platinum medal for each overall level.

I don't know If anyone else had trouble with protecting the two scientists on the scorpion level, but that part sucked balls for me. Here's my tip: Y, Y, X, (Hold X). The last part hits multiple enemies. If you perform this move by the scientists, it clears out the enemies near them.

I just used accelerated vision when I could and saved up those exploding tanks that you can throw til the end and used those. To be honest this game on hard isn't very difficult, I've only once so far and that was against sandman. But what really helped me was to constantly do the slam move (jump then press y). Stuns the enemies for a second so I can get some shots in then do it again.

Just to add to this, I wanted to say that when you are on the Goblin level and you get to the room with the clown faces, it can be tricky to find which door is the correct door. You want to look for the door that has one of the eyes twitching like the rest and the other eye twitching at twice the other eyes speed. It may take some time to figure out but you will notice it once you see it in front of you.

Before each level, you can choose a difficulty level. If you are not confident in yourself, then it is better to go through the medium one first, because... In the future, tactics of fighting enemies, techniques, etc. will be known.

It's better to start on hard right away. The game itself is very simple. On your first playthrough, focus on completing all tasks and collecting emblems and spiders. It’s better this way than going through the easy or normal tests one more time.
