Your ranking is based upon how quickly you complete the arena. Here are the times you will need to beat:

West Mansion Lobby: 12:00min
Slaughterhouse: 16:00min
West Observation Room: 23:00min
Death Coaster: 25:00min
Shadow of the Wickerman: 26:00min
West Manor Chapel: 20:00min

I suggest completing the campaign first and unlocking all of your useful upgrades such as higher health and more powerful moves to make these Survival Arenas easier. Once you do that, you pretty much just want to kill all weaker enemies with weapons that come out of the chests and kill the more powerful enemies with LT+Y(Splatter Smash). 3 of those attacks with take down the toughest enemy.

If you get a shotgun keep it lying around until you're in need of Necro Bars and then blast an enemy away with it. It will fill up your Necro Bars very, very quickly. Good luck!

To be honest this achievement is pretty easy..
If you haven't done it the fist time to get rank s you will get it on your 2nd play through.
As Nipplepwner has said avoid splatterkills (the ones with the mini cut scenes) and use splatter smash to take down the big enemies and groups
here are the times you need to beat in order to get rank S

there isnt any tip i can actually give for this, since u nearly only have to be fast to get S-ranked, but i might help with some specific tactics:

use splatter smash as often as possible on the big enemies and biger groups (4+enemies) since it will finish most of them in one or two hits. when u are close to get hit by the blue guys which rip your arm off with one hit (jeah, they are anoyin as hell) u also can use the splater smash since it will prevent you from losing a limb (better waste one than loosing an arm since its tough to get S rank with one arm)
DONT go for splatter kills since the timer keeps counting during the animation. a better and faster way to get middle sized enemies done (i mean humanoid ones) is to grab them with B and dismember their arms for good. they die AND leave u a nice club to do some killing.
use weapons ONLY on small enemies since no mater the condition, they will break once u use it on big ones. if ur weapon is already red dont bother using it on big enemies, bot otherwise just simply dont.
