How to unlock the Bride of the Corrupted achievement in Splatterhouse - Definitive Guide

Not too difficult a game to beat. Make sure that you invest in the health, necro, Splatter Smash and weapon upgrades as a matter of priority. You'll also want to take the grab move that allows you to tear off arms (press 'b' twice), as this not only gives you a weapon, but insta-kills the enemy. Hitting 'b' while holding a weapon is a one-hit kill on the normal enemies as well.

There only a few points that can cause problems:

Neon blue zombies crop up on a regular basis. They rip off your arms, cause massive damage, and are a pest. Use weapons, or grab them and Rick slams them for an insta-kill. If you can't do that, charge them (RT and Y), it sends them flying and two or three hits should kill them.

Late in the game you'll meet some zombies that glow red, and which cause damage if you hit them with light attacks. Charged heavy attacks will hit them no problem, or you can use weapons, smash and slash, or berserker mode.

Meat Factory - there's a point where you need to cross a room filled with giant fans, crossing a floor that falls away. After crossing three panels, fighting enemies all the way, you then need to turn around and go back to the entrance. Listen out for the warnings that the mask will give you, and everything should be fine.

Final Boss - don't go to the Corrupted, stay near Jen on the slab and fight off the enemies that attack her. Use lots of slash, smash, and rip arms off as much as you can. If Jen dies, you lose. The boss eventually approaches and launches into a QTE, at which point you get a checkpoint and a straightforward QTE to finish the game.

Other than that, use Splatter Smash on the larger enemies as it causes massive damage and recovers health. Splatter kills are good but slow, so use them in the campaign and then forget them for the Survival Arena.
