How to unlock the Super Star! achievement in Sports Champions - Definitive Guide

This is without doubt the most difficult trophy in Sports Champions. It's pretty straight on. You get stars by playing matches in the different Cups of the events. You'll want to get a 3 star rating in everything in ALL events below the Gold Cup. You'll need to win every Gold Cup, but you don't need three stars in all of them. I would advise you to have three stars in everything in 5/6 events. Remember that you'll unlock Champions Cup after winning the Gold Cup.

This is how my stats looked when I got the trophy:

Table Tennis: 3 stars in everything except Champions Cup.
Bocce: 3 stars in everything except Champions Cup.
Beach Volleyball: 3 stars in everything.
Archery: 3 stars in everything except Champions Cup.
Gladiator Duel: 3 stars in everything except Champions Cup.
Disc Golf: 3 stars in everything except Gold and Champions cup (one star in every Gold Cup match).

LeeorV posted a very helpful video and method on how to get through the Champions Cup in Gladiator Duel, earning three stars in every match. You can use the same method to go back and get 3 stars in the other Cups, too. Here is the video:

Description:

Just select Titus, hold up your shield (I've found that this taunts the AI into attacking) once you see movement, dodge left and immediately attack with a right to left slash as quickly as you can, this will do 300-400 damage AND knock them into the air, use a jump attack, and while you are in the air (in the jump attack animation) Do a strong downward smash (you won't see an indication of this on the screen) and the the regular 110 damage will turn into 200-350 damage and it will say "smashed!" and even push the opponent further backward.

If this didn't kill them (it rings them out most of the time) repeat until you do.

Using this technique (and memorizing the enemies attack animations so I can see it coming) I managed to 3-star everything! even all 33 stars on champion cup, and only one controller!

Archery - you can take all the cups (I got 123 :star:), volleyball - when blocking, close the area where your friend is not; when hitting, the opponent’s block covers the middle of the court, hit in line; in the Champions Cup, any victory = 3 :star:. Gladator battles - jumping back (central button on Move) is very useful, wait for the swing, jump back, counterattack. In other games - up to the gold cup for 90 :star:

Overall, it's not too difficult, especially when the game drags on. At first, I had it lying around for half a year, and I turned it on only to show my friends new technologies, and in company, in general, the game is fun, but I was very tired of moving so much myself. And then one day it started. I wanted to defeat everyone in everything, and to make it more difficult... What I mean is that the trophy is easy only if you enjoy it, otherwise, it’s better not to waste time...

It is important to understand why stars are awarded and how to get them easier. Here are my ideas:

Archery

As already written, the most prolific competition is archery. Everything is pretty clear there: shoot as quickly and accurately as possible, points are given to you immediately during the game, which also helps. At the end you will get some points for the longest series of shots without missing.

Gladiator fights

The main points will be given for the speed of victory and remaining health. If in doubt, then it is better to lose the second round (but the first blow should be yours - 100 points), spending it on protecting with a shield, they also add a little for this. The rebound-strike tactic works very well. Practice hitting hard, and right at the head - maximum damage. When the opponent is stunned, it is best to throw him up with a blow from below, and hit him in the air with quick blows, or, if he is close to the edge, you can hit him with a shield - he will fly forward a decent distance. This will save time and lives, but points are added for knockouts...

Disco golf

Points are given for "Berdie" (if you hit fewer shots than the standard), and for the gap in points between you and your opponent. In general, there should be no problems with silver and bronze, but then... If you know that you can knock out the stars in other competitions, then good, but if this is your last hope, then you can do this: throw the disc, if the throw passed as you need it, continue playing, if not, exit, re-enter, and continue saving. This method has already been described for winning, but it is also suitable for earning stars. You will be able to achieve "Berdie" and break points until your patience runs out.

Bocce

Points are given for "Sweep" (all 4 balls are closer than the opponent's balls - 500), "Super-shot" (push the opponent's ball away with yours and get closer to the palino - 100) and the gap between you and the opponent. Bronze and silver are quite simple, and then, in case of problems, you can use the tactics described for disco golf. This will give you the opportunity to increase the gap and achieve the "Sweep".

Beach volleyball

Points are given for the gap in the score, time of victory, blocks, spikes and digs. It's quite simple. Try.

Table tennis

The main advice is to move. Moreover, it is wider and larger-scale. The rest is practice and experience. Points are given for... Yes, for a gap in the score.
