Norton is the first boss in the game and as a result is very easy to defeat. With Cliff on your side this boss is a pushover, and you can pretty much let him do all the work if you wanted to. Just make sure to dodge his gunfire and you'll be fine. There are three Battle Trophies associated with this fight, one of which (defeating Norton with only the Metal Pipe) is not possible to obtain at that point in time. You'll need to wait for the Norton Redux fight in Sphere 211 (Floor 101) for your shot at that BT. If you synth an Orichalcum on the pipe and refine it, you should be able to defeat him easily with it. Once you defeat Norton, the trophy will unlock.

Note: The Norton Redux fight is not replayable. If you don't get the BT when you fight him the first time you'll have to wait until your next playthrough to have another chance.
