You'll find a Frigate on level 2-1.
Look for little green targetable areas that move in and out of the Frigate. Shoot them when they are out (they'll go orange and then red).
They are generally found in pairs on a Frigate. Don't shoot any weapons (targetable bits that fire at you) and the achv will pop as soon as the Frigate explodes.

FYI, there 8 targets (4 pairs) on a frigate, 4 (2 pairs) on each side.
