How to unlock the Borg Advance achievement in Star Trek Online - Definitive Guide

They added Task Force Operations to almost every main story arc. Since I already completed this before the TFO addition, I don't know if TFO is required for this achievement. Please let me know if you find out!

There are 5 missions in the Borg Advance story arc. If you get stuck, click a mission title for a walkthrough.

1. Report on Borg Activities (very easy)
2. Where Angels Fear to Tread (different mission title but mostly same walkthrough)
3. A Gathering Darkness (different mission title but mostly same walkthrough)
4. Assimilation (different maps but mostly same walkthrough)
5. Fluid Dynamics (different system name but mostly same walkthrough)
6? Task Force Operation: Borg Advance

This is probably gonna sound silly but on the last mission how the hell do I destroy the borg diamond?
I fire at it as does the fleet but the health don't drop 1 bit.
Wondering if it's glitch and I need to start the mission again or not

if you Log Out at that point and come back in, you should start back at that spot... I had other missions glitch on me and did that to fix it

I tried that and I still can't damage the command diamond. I will restart the mission and see if that sorts it out. Definitely gotta be a glitch I think.

Do you have any other missions (from different story blocks) open? I had one mission I couldn't get through until I dropped or completed a different one. Not in this arc, though.

Actually yeah I do. I will drop the others before I restart this 1 and see if it let's me through without issue.

Well I dropped the other mission and restarted the last borg mission and thankfully that worked. Finally managed to damage the borg diamond and destroy it and grab the cheevo.

The TFO is now required for this achievement. You have a choice of six missions:-
Cure Applied(GM - ground mission)
Cure Found(SM - space mission)
Infected: Manus(GM)
Infected: The Conduit(SM)
Khitomer in Stasis(GM)
Khitomer Vortex(SM)
Completing any one of these missions will complete the story arc and unlock the achievement.

To unlock this Trophy you need to Complete the Borg Advance story arc (as noted in the description) which is comprised of the following 5 missions...

- “Report to Battle Group Omega"
- “Where Angels Fear to Tread”
- “A Gathering Darkness”
- “Assimilation”
- “Fluid Dynamics”

This story arc can be completed by Federation, Klingon and Romulan characters at level 45 or above

This is a cross faction story arc. It is the 4th story arc of Federation, the 6th for Klingons, and the 8th for Romulans.

It consists of 6 missions. One mission will be labeled "Task Force Operation." That is a longer mission meant for a group. It is not required for the achievement and can be skipped.
