STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection

Second controller needed, play in splitscreen. Go to instant action, set up a CTF match without bots. (Options, CTF, AI per team 0) Map Mygeeto, CTF with 2 flags, Galactic War. Captures to win is 1.

Now start the game, player 2 as empire and starting point 0, player one starts as rebels, point 3 as the rocket guy. Run to point 0 on the map and take the flag. With player two, enter one of the two tanks in front of the flag. Thrn shot two rockets into the black hatch on the back of the tank, respawn player 2, enter second tank, repeat. You should revieve the award "Demolition".

Now, switch from rocket to pistol, run to point 2 and with the second controller spawn in player 2. From this point on, keep respawning player 2 at this starting point after each kill.

Kill player 2 six times with the pistol for award "Gunslinger", then go to point 3 and switch to the regular soldier. Now kill player 2 twelve times with the rifle for the medal "Frenzy". Head to point 3, switch to sniper, kill player 2 six times by headshots with the sniper rifle, award "Marksman". Switch to engineer at point 3, let player 2 enter the tank spawned at point 3. Switch your main weapon and hack the tank for award "Technician". After that, kill player 2 eight times with your shotgun for award "Regulator". Now, you should have won all awards, including "Endurance", "Guardian" and "War Hero" along the way for scoring 12, 24 and 36 points in one life.

Bring the flag you captured at the start to your base and win the round. (Important for saving earned medals.) Now, all you have to to ist to start over. Repeat for 64 times to get all awards to legendary. Keep in mind, after 32 times, requirements for all awards are lowered by 25%, meaning the second half of the grind is a little faster.

To reach legendary Marksman status you need to get the Marksman medal 64 times.
(Marksman medal - Get 6 headshots with a Sniper Rifle in one life (only 4 at Elite)

To view your medals go to Star Wars Battlefront 2 -> Pick a Profile -> Options -> Career Stats.
There you can see all your medals.

Medal ranks
Green:
0 medals earned - You will NOT receive rewards even if you earn medals.

Veteran:
4 medals earned - You will receive the appropriate reward every time you earn a medal.

Elite:
32 medals earned - You will receive the appropriate reward every time you earn a medal. In addition, the medal requirements decrease by 1/4.

Legendary:
64 medals earned - You will receive the reward for any medal on Legendary level at the beginning of every round you play in single player modes.


You can do it in Singleplayer in either the campaign or Instant Action

2. Pick a Profile
3. Singleplayer
4. Instant Action
5. Add your Maps you want to play
6. (you can also play with the Options to change Conguest reinforcments to 500 and other things)
7. then Lauch the Map

You can use cheat codes like Infinite Ammo and Invincibility, these will NOT void Achievements.

To use Infinite Ammo cheat code press Pause and press on the DPAD

To use Invincibility cheat code press Pause and press on the DPAD

You should hear a sound (in the pause menu) if it worked.

A Marksman medal is awarded for getting 6 headshot kills with a Sniper Rifle in one life. For each of the Battlefront 2 medals, you can only get one per life, so you will need to throw a thermal detonator at the ground and walk over it to reset the medals each time. This was always the second hardest for me after Demolition medals, sniping in Battlefront sucks.

Aiming with a Sniper Rifle is very stiff and very loose at the same time, I was never good at aiming it back in the day, and still am not now. However I did find that it was slightly easier to aim when I was crouched.

You will need 4 medals to get to Veteran status, 32 to get to Elite status, and 64 to get to Legendary status.
Once you get to Elite status, the requirements for getting the medal drop by 25%. So the last 32 medals of this achievement will mean that you need 4 headshot kills with a Sniper Rifle in one life (yes I know that 2/6 isn't 25%, that's just how it works)

Something very important to note is that you CANNOT quit the match you are in. You must complete the game, victory or defeat, for your medals to count to your career stats. You could in theory knock out all 64 medals for legendary in one match if you set all AI to 0 per match then quit if you just want the achievement, but then you won't have the permanent unlock at the start of each match. I'd recommend doing it in small chunks at a time. In that case, if the AI is set to 0, just go around and cap all command posts so the game will end, and it will add the medals to your career total.

Method 1
Plug in a second controller to play splitscreen. Load up any map of you choosing, and set enemy AI to 0. Camp near any enemy command post (but don't get so close that you start capping it) and just keep on sniping the guest account til you get the medal. Unfortunately, there is a bug associated, where you do have to wait a solid 20-30 seconds before you can respawn with the default sniper again, and you could go for a Gunslinger medal too while waiting the time out. Don't remember this ever being a thing in the original version of this game, having to wait for medals to reset. This will be your fastest way to get the medals.

Method 2
If you don't have a second controller, there is a decent alternative. Load up the Kashyyyk map, play as the CIS, spawn in on command post 2 (it's the one further up the map on the right). Sprint forward a bit, then zoom in on the left. You'll see a big walkway where the Clones will come down from. If you are zoomed in near the rock where the walkway starts on the ground, a few Clones will have tendency to just stand there for a bit, making for easy headshots. This only works for the early stages of the game, as the AI will finally start to move around from that spot. I normally get a Marksman medal pretty quickly. While waiting out the time to reset the medal upon respawning, I do like to change to an engineer class and get a Technician medal from slicing into an enemy tank. It's usually at this point where your team will capture command post 3 (where you sniped enemies walking down earlier), and the enemy AI will almost always never take it back. To further get Marksman medals, keep around command post 2, and aim towards the gate blocking off the last command post. Clones and Wookies have a tendency to stand in front of the gate, making for some easy headshots as well. Additionally, you can get fairly easy headshots from enemies who man the turrets at the top of the gate house. Since this is Kashyyyk, you'll also get endless enemy Wookie spawns, making so that you will have more enemies to kill. Keep resetting 30ish seconds after the medal, and rinse and repeat til the match is over, or you get legendary status. Since my aim isn't spectacular with a Sniper Rifle, I was maybe getting 4-5 Marksman medals per match this way.

This is a bit of a mixture of previous guides, but it worked relatively quick for me while providingat least some fun compared to a boring grind!

Play through the campaign on elite (lower criteria for each medal) while using cheats (they won't void the achievements as previous posters already pointed out).

I usually chose to start as the scout to get the Markman and Gunslinger medals, after that I got to a flag and changed to engineer for the Regulator and - if possible - the Mechanic medals, then I changed to normal trooper to finish it of with the Frenzy medal. On the way while going through the those kills I easily got the medals Endurance, Guardian and War Hero. After all this I respawned through the menu and repeated the process until I was down to 1 or 2 (just to be safe) tickets. Then I completed the next objective to get more tickets and started the same process all over.
NOW:
I got some medals until I reached Mustafar, at that point I found the fastest way to earn the above mentioned medals (around 30-40 per round).
Do the same method as mentioned above. After capturing the first objective some of your AI will get stuck in the conference room shortly before entering the first objective. From this point on, you will have around ten tickets to use (that means around 9 spawns/medals). When your at 2 tickets, capture the next objective on the other side of the two bridges crossing the lava, there you will get another 20+ tickets and if your lucky (worked the three times I tried) you will be able to use all the tickets for your boosting. Just run towards the next objective (the one at the beginning of the big ramp) without capturing and get the kills needed. Sometimes the enemies will run to the other side of the objective, simply cross it as fast as possible and kill them while they're piling up at a door. You can also get "kills" by destroying the auto turrets (doesn't work for Marksman medal because of the headshots needed). When down to 2 tickets capture the next objective and go on as mentioned above.
Sadly the game crashed on me on one run, but I was able to get all the medals above up to over 64 in two runs!

To recap:
- difficulty Elite
- use cheats
- campaign mission on Mustafar
- play needed classes and respawn until two tickets left
- capture next objective and repeat this method
- after the first objective most of your AI will get stuck so you can use most of the provided tickes for this

-> the best point to grind is right after the second objective (the one on the other side of the bridges over the lava pit)

Get 1 Marksman medal as quick as every 45-60 seconds!

The quickest way to earn this medal is by sniping at close quarters! Use the settings below, along with the Invincibility and Infinite Ammo cheats, to breeze through the grindiest achievement in this game.

Map - Rhen Var: Harbor
Mode - 1-flag CTF

CTF Options:

• AI Units Per Team: 32

• CTF Score: 15

• Timer: 60

Feel free to adjust the score and time settings for your own liking.

This match is absolute chaos with 32 units per team. The map is very small and only has one command post per team. It is a nonstop battle between the AI. With the cheat codes active, I went toward the action and did my best to get headshots. Going down on the ground is easier than camping up above. I found that enemies within 10 feet were the easiest to land headshots on.

Here are 2 15-second clips of me getting these medals. With the 30-second medal delay added, the quickest I earned these medals was 45 seconds.




Cheat codes - use the commands in the pause menu during a game:
Infinite Ammo:
Up, Down, Left, Down, Down, Left, Down, Down, Left, Down, Down, Down Left, Right
Invincibility:
Up, Up, Up, Left, Down, Down, Down, Left, Up, Up, Up, Left, Right

This can be achieved offline playing against bots. You can check how many medals you have at anytime by doing the following. Select profile>Main menu>Options>Career stats. To obtain this achievement you must earn 64 Marksman medals.

Or in other words get get 6 Headshot kills in one life without dying 64 times.
