How to unlock the Jedi Master achievement in STAR WARS Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - Definitive Guide

There are two methods to beating the game on "Jedi Master" difficulty.

The first method involves playing it through the regular way you would normally play. It might prove difficult in parts, so saving will be your friend. However, if you are not comfortable with Jedi Master difficulty, I suggest starting with Jedi difficulty first to get used to the Missions and your abilities/weapons. After that, you should have a solid understanding of how the game works to be able to take on the most difficult playthrough of the game.

The second method involves a workaround using the cheats. Normally, using cheats all trophies will be disabled (save for the one that requires using cheats). However, there is a workaround that was discovered.

  1. Start a new game and select Jedi Master difficulty (you don’t have to start the game yet; just select the difficulty)
  2. Open up the cheat menu ()
  3. Press on "Warp Target" until you reach "Yavin Final", then go down to "Warp" and press
  4. After Mission loads, open up the cheat menu again; you’ll see more cheats available now.
  5. Turn "Noclip" and "Godmode" to "On"
  6. Exit and clip through the game til you reach the corridor leading to the last area by Desann and go through the corridor until you hear Kyle say, "I’ve got a bad feeling about this."
  7. Go down near the entrance to the final battle arena, open up the cheat menu again, and turn "Noclip" to "Off".
  8. Go towards Desann to trigger the cutscene, then fight Desann.
  9. When the animation of Desann dying starts, quickly pause the game, open up the cheat menu, and turn "Godmode" to "Off".
  10. Save the game.
  11. Exit the game (no need to close the application).
  12. Reload the last save, and the trophies should pop at the credits (skip the cutscenes to speed this up).

Basically, you cheat your way to a point in the game to qualify as beating the game, save the game without cheats, exit, then reload that "clean" save. Theoretically, this could work with other trophies in the game, but it takes a lot of work to figure out where to go and trigger everything without missing an important trophy; it could also glitch out and think that you are still in the cheat mode, so I would not suggest doing this for other trophies.

Below is a video walkthrough by Silas Stottlemeyer on how to use this cheat to still get the trophies:
